In the Harry Potter series, Dumbledore and Voldemort were two key characters, and they were closely related to Harry Potter. Dumbledore was the headmaster of Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry. He was a very intelligent, powerful, and righteous wizard. He played the role of a mentor and guide in the growth of Harry Potter. Dumbledore knew that Harry's fate was closely linked to Voldemort. He gave Harry help, advice, and magical knowledge at many critical moments, guiding Harry on the path to fight against Voldemort. For example, he told Harry many important things about the Deathly Hallows and encouraged Harry to develop his courage, wisdom, and friendship so that he could take on the burden of fighting Voldemort. Voldemort was the villain of the entire series. He was a powerful Dark Sorcerer who pursued power, immortality, and absolute rule over the Sorcerer World. Voldemort had hunted Harry down when he was still a baby because of a prophecy that he would be his nemesis. He killed Harry's parents, but when he tried to kill Harry, his Killing Curse was reflected by Harry's mother's Sacrifice Magic, leaving a lightning-shaped scar on Harry's forehead and miraculously surviving. Voldemort's reign of terror and evil behavior plunged the wizarding world into darkness and fear. He constantly created various plots and killings in an attempt to break the peace of the wizarding world. As Harry Potter grew up, he gradually realized that he had to fight against Voldemort to protect his friends, family, and the entire wizarding world. As the protagonist of the story, under Dumbledore's guidance, Harry Potter continued to grow and accumulate strength. With his courage, wisdom, friendship, and belief in justice, he finally defeated Voldemort and brought a new era of peace and tranquility to the magical world. Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone was not enough. Everyone, please click to read the novel!

Yes, there are likely fanfictions out there with this dark and alternative take. Fanfiction often explores non - canonical ideas, and this would be a very radical one. It goes against the established lore in the official 'Harry Potter' series, but that's the nature of fanfiction - to play with different concepts.

One possible reason could be that Harry breaks school rules in the fanfiction. For example, if he ventures into the Forbidden Forest without permission. Dumbledore is strict about the safety of students and such disobedience might lead to punishment.

He might give Harry detention. Harry could be made to clean the trophies in the trophy room or help Hagrid with some difficult tasks in the Forbidden Forest under strict supervision.

Well, Harry might outsmart Dumbledore by using his unique understanding of the magical world in ways Dumbledore doesn't expect. For example, Harry has a more direct experience with some dark magic items due to his encounters with Voldemort. He could use this knowledge to make decisions that seem counter - intuitive to Dumbledore but are actually more effective in a particular situation.

Well, in certain Harry Potter fanfiction, Dumbledore can come across as insane. It really depends on the writer's interpretation and the direction they want to take the story. Some might do it for shock value, to create a more edgy or different take on the well - known character. However, the canonical Dumbledore was a highly intelligent and calculating figure, not insane.

When Dumbledore destroyed Marvolo Gaunt's ring, he thought that the Dark Magic had been removed and put it on, only to be cursed by the Dark Magic. He had also consumed the poison Voldemort had prepared to protect the Horcruxes, which had weakened him. Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix is not enough. Please click to read the novel!

In the Harry Potter series, saying that Dumbledore "schemed" against Harry Potter was a bit biased. Dumbledore did have a plan for Harry's growth and destiny in many ways. For example, he gave Harry to the Dursleys to be raised. On the one hand, it was to keep Harry away from the danger of being tainted by fame and fortune at an early age. Growing up in an ordinary family in the Muggle world, Harry grew up in such a repressive environment and had a strong ability to resist pressure. On the other hand, it was to protect Harry from Voldemort or his henchmen. Throughout the entire plan against Voldemort, Dumbledore knew Harry's special identity and his key role in the fight against Voldemort. Although he knew that Harry might face great danger or even death, he was trying his best to guide, support, and protect Harry. He had always been Harry's mentor and supporter, helping Harry explore the wizarding world, unravel his family's secrets, and uncover the truth behind Voldemort's schemes. His arrangements were more out of the grand goal of protecting the Wizarding world, fighting against Voldemort, and the comprehensive consideration of Harry's growth and development, rather than malicious " calculations." For Harry, his friends like Ron and Hermione are likely to be his allies. They've always been by his side through thick and thin in the original series, so it's natural for them to support Harry in a confrontation with Dumbledore. Neville could also be an ally, given his growth and courage shown in the books.
