If lives are single long threads for each soul being, thus a world is a web of threads created by soul energy, time spent and deliberate mark to be a legacy. Then it takes something signify wrong to break the web network that souls grounded those webs together. Every Universe has a back up system, workers who keep mortal threads blissfully within the natural order. Here in this broken universe these workers are uncovered and brought with the tangles. They weren't the only ones uncovered by the broken laws; other creatures, other being of other realms and even the very foundation gave way to other 'web' worlds. It takes the more frayed thread to repair the broken, forgotten and the ignored. It takes the foundational thread to be beyond repair to be the tool to make do with the mulch that is left behind. Not fixing, no. There isn't any fixing something that has moved on with what it became.

He's... Lucas Vantouxer. A cold man without mercy on anyone who dared to disturb his composure. Cruel and sadistic to anyone who dares to betray. They would never live in peace when it came to that Great Lord in life. There is no mercy for them if they have been dragged into a rancid-smelling room with lots of guns by Lucas’s men. But all remains the same when he accidentally helps a girl in a closed dress blocking the road and slowly enters the circle of his life. The girl also slowly brings influence and always mediates in his conflicts. Yes.. slowly but surely, out of nowhere Lucas was ys curious about the girl until the girl surnamed Waesley was able to make him change. The cruelty and arrogance that he always displayed slowly faded with time. Follow your heart as the girl once told her. “You have to follow your heart if you want to live a carefree life, Mr. Luc,” - Mrs. Waesley.

From one world to another, the working cogs of the afterlife have suited the souls within those worlds. Slightly beyond the sight of living people is a system of order that keeps all in check. Away from worlds of magic (as was in the previous books), here is a world as we know it. But peel back the laws that prevent the living among the dead, befall a strange way of life for one individual. In all honesty: this 132 chapter book is more the removed sections of another. This is a very broken long draft, I would actually not have this one in paper copy. But the elements of this book are basically for 'Shroud Over Their Eyes'. Welcome to my headache of untangling this multiverse.

This is my first book so feel free to leave your feedback. I feel that criticism helps to improve some people and I'm one of them. Right now I'm writing whenever I have the free time. This isn't meant to be fast paced but if it's too slow just let me know. Expect a few errors because I'm only human after all.

"Are you going to hate me, little girl?" the man asked with a flat, emotionless voice that made Annica's mouth taste bitter with fear and hatred. Annica remained silent. She just stared at the frozen face without blinking, ignoring his increasingly blurred gaze. The man laughed. "What are you going to do? This is your fate. Accept it." The monster turned his body around and walked away, leaving Annica alone in her cold room. The gust of wind rushing in through the door extinguished the light from the remaining short candles in the room. But Annica could still gaze at the man's back. Tonight, the moon seemed brighter than usual. Tonight, Annica's world split in two. Tonight, the 14-year-old girl lost everything.

After Rivienne, the daughter of the Grand Duke Carmillion of the Vassilios Empire, got into a deathly accident at such a young age, everyone thought that she was living in the countryside, getting better in her fragile health. Nevertheless, she became a gorgeous lady and the future monarch of the empire. Yet she wanted nothing but to close her eyes forever and get rid of her existence. Despite her name, her dreams, her hateful family, and her arrogant fiancé, Rivienne wore a mask of innocence, tangling with an assignment, only to protect the imperium from the enemies. But her fated love and the cursed prince who craved her misery and feasted upon it would never have the will to let go of her. Would she be able to break her chains and sore in the sky? Or would she be devil-bound and live as she hated the most? [EXCERPTS] She was burning. She felt her heart thundering. Her ragged breath could melt iron. She fell on her knees when the water was right before her. The fire within her screamed for her to spread their wings, yet she did not want to. The world was not worthy enough for her to destroy.  Sweating buckets, she gasped for the air, facing the ceiling lying on the floor. She wanted to rip off the sticky petticoat along with her skin. Under the dim light of candles, she thought, 'So this is how I die,' She scoffed, gulping. 'This was how Rivienne died without dying,' Perfect! "Oh! Dear," His mocking voice did not even let her finish her life. She eyed him with utter hatred as the angelic man, stained with blood, stopped biting his inner cheek and tossed away the bloody dagger, pushing himself up from the door he was leaning on, watching leisurely. And then he approached his dear painter. "Would you look at this?" He wiped the blood on his unreadable face with the back of his palm and sighed, looking at her. "Get lost!"  She was able to tell him the most important thing. Disappear from my life. Everything was confusing after this man. And he never listened. Still keeping his dull expression, he scooped her with one swift movement as she began to kick him, wiggling, wasting her last drop of energy. It was useless. He shoved her into the bathtub abruptly, imprisoning her beneath him in the icy water.  She kept rebelling against his force, pushing him away and cursing. When the opening occurred, she cupped his neck.  Kill him! Burn him! Her ears echoed.  "... You little!" He gritted his teeth, and his jaw twitched, enduring the monstrous pain she brought. Her lips curved up victoriously and stubbornly when he was defeated. Yet it did not last long. He dipped her in the water in a blink, taking the hand that almost killed him as he clashed his lips with hers, becoming the blizzard for her flaming hell.
