"Passing Huaqing Palace" was a group of poems created by Du Mu, with a total of three poems. One of the most famous ones was: " Looking back at Chang 'an, there are piles of embroidery, and thousands of doors on the top of the mountain are opened one after another. Riding on a red dust, the concubine smiled, and no one knew it was lychee." The first line of the poem described the scene of looking back at Mount Li from Chang 'an. Mount Li looked like a beautiful mountain, both referring to the actual East Embroidered Ridge and West Embroidered Ridge, and describing the beautiful scenery of Mount Li. Then, the magnificence of the palace on the mountain peak was displayed, and the thousands of doors opened one after another. Then a close-up shot of a horse galloping over, raising the dust of the world behind him. The concubine smiled at the sight, and finally revealed that the answer was that the lychee was sent from the south, and no one knew. Through the typical event of sending lychees, this poem exposed the extravagant and licentious life of Emperor Xuanzong and Yang Guifei. The poem did not use difficult words, allusions, or sculpting, but it set up suspense layer by layer, first exaggerating the atmosphere, and finally revealing the truth. The whole country was immersed in a song and dance, and the palaces and pavilions on Mount Li were particularly distinct under the moonlight. An Lushan dragged his fat body and danced elegantly, causing Noble Consort Yang's laughter to flutter across the mountains.

Looking from Chang 'an City to Mount Li, the scenery of Mount Li was like a beautiful brocade. On the top of the mountain, the gates of Huaqing Palace opened one after another. This depicted a grand scene, hinting at the importance of Lychee's arrival, and paving the way for the following. " A ride in the world of mortals and a concubine's smile, no one knows it's lychee." Three Quatrains Passing Huaqing Palace (II)
The second quatrain of three quatrains in Huaqing Palace was written by Du Mu of the Tang Dynasty. The whole poem is "Xinfeng green trees rise yellow dust, several riding Yuyang exploration envoy back." A song of the rainbow dress on a thousand peaks, dancing to break the primitive." The first line of the poem depicted the scene of yellow dust rising from the green trees around Xinfeng, implying that something important had happened. Yuyang was the place guarded by An Lushan. The scout was bribed by An Lushan and lied about the military situation, so Xuanzong did not notice the crisis. "Song of the Rainbow on a Thousand Peaks" mentioned that Emperor Xuanzong of the Tang Dynasty and Concubine Yang were indulging in the song and dance of "Song of the Rainbow on Feathers" in Huaqing Palace on Mount Li, and "Thousand Peaks" became the background of their song and dance. The poem,"The dance is broken and the primitive comes down", exaggeratedly points out that this kind of debauchery finally led to the outbreak of the An Shi Rebellion. The Central Plains was broken, and Tang Xuanzong and Yang Guifei fell from the "Thousand Peaks" of singing and dancing, and had to face the decline of the dynasty. This sentence vividly shows the state of the ruler's drunkenness and the serious consequences of his behavior, and the contrast between "Thousand Peaks" and "Down" enhanced the expressiveness and irony of the poem.
