Tripitaka

Qianlong Tripitaka
The Qianlong Tripitaka was an official Chinese Tripitaka of the Qing Dynasty, also known as the Qing Imperial Tripitaka or the Dragon Tripitaka. It was first carved in the 13th year of Yongzheng in the Qing Dynasty (1735) and completed in the 3rd year of Qianlong (1738). In the 14th National Ancient Book Restoration Technology and Work Management Workshop, 36 volumes of severely damaged and endangered Tripitaka of Qianlong in Kaiyuan Temple were repaired in three weeks, including 35 severely damaged volumes and 1 volume of endangered damaged volume, totaling 693 papers, 3518 pages, 299030 words and a total length of more than 450 meters.
