Harry Potter 5: Order of the Phoenix was released in 2007. It was directed by David Yates, written by Michael Goldenberg, and starred Daniel Radcliffe, Emma Watson, Rupert Grint, and others.

The film was about the Minister of Magic who refused to accept the truth after Harry claimed that Voldemort had returned and suppressed Harry and Hogwarts. Harry returned to school after escaping dementors and passing Ministry vetting, but the term was full of challenges. He had to complete his Wizarding level exams, deal with nightmares at night, and deal with the oppression of his Defense Against the Dark Arts teacher, Umbridge. With the support of his friends, Harry secretly formed Dumbledore's legion to practice Defense Against the Dark Arts.
