Fan Xian let Yan Bingyun lead the diplomatic mission and continue on their way. He and Wang Qinian returned to the capital first to save the people.

Some of the stories of the minor characters in the play were heartbreaking. For example, the old man, who was originally a vegetable seller, was framed and owed 500 taels of silver because he did not send filial piety to the eunuch in the Palace. His daughter sold herself into a brothel to pay back the money for her father. Fan Xian gave him money to redeem his daughter, but the old man only had enough time as a white lady for four hours. He could not save 10,000 taels of silver in his entire life to completely save his daughter.

In the development of the plot, although Li Chengping and Shi Chanli did not think highly of Fan Xian's method of passing on the craft, they knew it was beneficial to the country and the people, so they supported it. Fan Xian and Haitang Duoduo opened their hearts. Haitang Duoduo told Fan Xian about Ku He's sinister ways of modifying the Tianyi Dao Heart Technique. Fan Xian also pointed out that the Tyrannical zhenqi he gave Haitang Duoduo lacked a step. Fan Xian sent Deng Zi Yue to disguise himself as a disaster victim and infiltrate the Ming family as a spy. In the Hanging Temple assassination case, Fan Xian was "entrusted" by Ye Zhong to protect the Qing Emperor. When the fire rose, Fan Xian went to the Qing Emperor's side to fight the Shadow and save the Third Prince. Later, when he chased after the Shadow, his Tyrannical zhenqi ran into problems and he was in a life-and-death crisis. Originally, the royal doctor could have saved him, and so could the Shadow (the Shadow practiced Tyrannical zhenqi and was a Great Grandmaster). However, the Shadow did not save him and did not tell him the truth. Fan Xian let Fan Ruoruo do the operation. The Qing Emperor came out and cut Fan Xian's body to let Fan Ruoruo understand the thickness of his skin. After the operation was successful, Fan Xian became a cripple and lost zhenqi. In addition, the truth of Lin Wan 'er's brother Lin Gong's death had been exposed (killed by Wu Zhu), creating a rift between her and Fan Xian. Fan Xian's background (Ye Qingmei and the Qing Emperor's son) had been exposed. In the end, the Qing Emperor and Fan Xian recognized each other as father and son. Fan Xian had not changed his name to the Fan family's ancestral hall. His choice prevented him from falling into the vortex of power in the royal family. Fan Xian still did not know that after the assassination in Hanging Temple, the Qing Emperor could have saved him but had left him in the lurch.
