Yang Youning's version
In 2021, Qiao Feng was played by Yang Youning in the Rongguang version of "Dragons and Demons." This version of Qiao Feng was controversial from the moment he appeared. In terms of image, although some people believed that Yang Youning was 180cm tall, strong and burly, with tough and rough facial lines, thick eyebrows, big eyes, straight nose, square mouth, and square face, which matched the appearance description of Qiao Feng in the original book, more netizens believed that he was born with the "Xiaosheng" feeling of the male protagonist in Taiwan. He was not powerful enough and heroic. His southerner appearance lacked the boorish appearance of Qiao Feng as a northerner. Even if he tried his best to act, he was still quite different from the Qiao Feng in the original book. Moreover, his clothes and attire were not pleasing. Although he was playing the role of the Beggar's Sect Leader, he looked too sloppy. From the perspective of the entire drama, the casting of this version of " Demigods and Semi-Devils " was criticized by many viewers. In addition to Qiao Feng, there were also many problems with the characters such as Duan Yu and Xu Zhu. For example, Duan Yu's modern slanted bangs and shiny earrings also had some exaggerated scenes in his performance. For example, Duan Yu's reaction when he first saw the " fairy sister " was that he was so beautiful that he peed his pants. The reviews of the drama on the Internet had been declining all the way, causing many viewers to feel a chill towards the classic remake. "Glazed Flame" is equally exciting.
