The real deeds and thoughts of volunteer activities
"Experience and Comprehension of the volunteer activities." In our lives, volunteer activities are like a warm light, illuminating many corners and bringing unique experiences and deep insights to the people involved. I once participated in a community organization's volunteer garbage collection activity. On that day, the sun shone on the earth. A group of small volunteers, led by community workers, set off with tools. There was a lot of garbage scattered in some corners of the community and the green belts along the streets. There were discarded plastic bottles, food packaging bags, and so on. At first, I thought it was a little dirty and didn't want to pick it up. However, seeing how serious my other friends were, I mustered up my courage. During this process, I bent down countless times, and the garbage bag in my hand gradually became heavier. The weather was getting hotter and hotter, and my clothes were drenched in sweat. However, looking at the community environment that had been cleaned and tidied through our efforts, my heart was filled with a sense of accomplishment. At that moment, I understood that although we only picked up some trash, this small action could make our living environment better. Another time, I participated in a visit to the nursing home. When I walked into the nursing home, I saw that the old people had kind smiles on their faces, but there was also a hint of loneliness in their eyes. We cleaned the old people's rooms, chatted with them, and performed for them. When I gave a painting I drew to an old man, he smiled very happily and held my hand tightly to thank me. At that moment, I felt the joy of giving. These elderly people not only needed material care, but also our companionship and love. Through these volunteer activities, I gained a lot. I learned to cherish the fruits of others 'labor because I knew how difficult it was to clean up the community. I also learned to care for others. The smiles of the elderly made me understand that giving warmth to others would make me happy. I also realized that every small act of kindness could gather into a great power. As long as each of us was willing to give a little love, the world would become a better place. The experiences of these volunteer activities are like bright stars, embedded in the sky where I grew up, constantly encouraging me to do more meaningful things to pass on love and warmth.
