What's the difference between Mountain River Sword Heart animation and novel?

Answer 1

To understand the difference between the anime and the novel, one could look at the plot, character creation, production performance, and so on.

In terms of the plot, for example, the importance of " Zhu Yangce " in the novel was different from that in the anime. In the novel, the ring was only a symbolic meaning and was not that important. In the anime," Zhu Yangce " became a cover, and the ring of Hulu became the object of everyone's competition. Moreover, anime might add some main plot for visual effects, which would be different from the original novel's plot.

In terms of character creation, the original work was written from Shen Qiao's point of view, so there was a sense of gentleness. Although the anime restored the story of Yan Wushi behind Shen Qiao, the overall adaptation of the plot made the character lack this sense of gentleness.

In terms of production performance, there were some shortcomings in the production level of the animation. For example, the level of role-playing games ten years ago had few expressions, inflexible fingers, strange walking postures, unreasonable indoor settings, such as the ceiling of the palace and the broken Taoist temple, the number of NPCs, and the cheap special effects of fantasy dramas. On the other hand, the novel was a Wuxia world constructed through words. There were no such problems in production.
