Humans and demons were born at the same time in a completely illusory world. At first, both thought that they were natural spiritual beings. Humans regarded demons as wild beasts, and demons regarded humans as animals. The two often had conflicts. Later on, humans realized that they were no match for demons, so they called the power of demons demonic power. Demons also discovered this power in their own bodies. At this time, humans could only run away when they met demons. Later on, humans discovered that magic treasures could fight against demons, and immortal cultivation aristocratic families continued to emerge. The royal aristocratic family and a few other top-notch aristocratic families in the human camp established the One Qi Dao Alliance to lead humans against demons. At the same time, the Demon Taming Kingdom in the north used the Mother and Child Demon Taming Talismans to fight against demons. The two sides entered an era of full-scale war.

At that time, the land where humans and demons lived was the territory of the Aolai Kingdom, and the creatures outside the circle were not known to people. Later on, the Aolai Kingdom started a war with an unknown force, causing the eldest young master of the Aolai Kingdom to die in battle and the third young master to be seriously injured. In order to prevent the creatures outside the circle from invading the world of humans and demons, the Third Young Master drew a circle before he fell asleep, dividing the world into the inner circle and the outer circle. Humans and demons lived in the circle.
