Still Water City Film Review

"Distant Flowing Water" had many characteristics. Judging from the character setting, the drama presented a complex and attractive character setting. The male protagonist had a double identity. As the prince of the Moonset Clan, he lurked beside the Emperor as a crafty minister, shouldering the heavy responsibility of avenging his father and saving his clansmen. His road to revenge was full of ups and downs. The female protagonist was a girl who grew up in the mountains. After she left the mountain, she had many entanglements with the male protagonist. The second male lead wanted to revitalize the family and become the prime minister, while the third male had no interest in his career. The characters in the play were all career-minded. They developed their emotional lines in the process of achieving their goals. They did not belittle the female characters, nor did they perfunctorily play supporting roles. They did not mythologize the charm of men. There was no simple distinction between good and bad characters. In terms of the plot style, although it was an ancient puppet advertisement, it was more of a scheming style, similar to the original novel style of the early years, which was as famous as Nirvana in Fire. All the smart people fought with wisdom and courage. Many of Sun Tzu's strategies were used freely in the play. The plot was closely linked and respected the intelligence of the audience. However, with the popularity of short dramas, this kind of brain-burning plot was contrary to the fast-food culture of the market. It required the audience to have the patience to watch it. Otherwise, it was easy to feel that there were logic bugs in the plot. For example, the male lead's behavior towards the female lead at the beginning and some foreshadowing settings were easily misunderstood. In terms of emotions, there were elements of sadism. For example, according to the original plot, the male protagonist who had avenged his revenge chose to sacrifice himself to protect his clansmen, leaving only the female protagonist and his posthumous son. In terms of the performance of the actors, the casting was suitable and had a sense of immersion. All of them had authentic actors 'faces and their acting skills were online. Overall, this was a rare historical masterpiece in recent years. Although it only had a score of 6.8, the drama fans thought it was worth more than 8 points. [<<A Great Task Descends From Heaven>>: Criticized for having a serious counterfeit problem.] There were many elements in the film that were suspected to be knock-offs of other well-known works, such as the knock-off version of Sun Wukong, Moo Sho Long, the sunglasses man in the Matrix, the headmaster of Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry, the little girl in Transformers, Invincible Destroyer, and so on. There were even knock-off versions of the tree man in The Lord of the Rings and scenes that spoofed A Chinese Oath of the West. ** Star Wish **: This was a 100-year-old work by the brand. This was a rather ordinary animated film with a disney musical. It adopted a more traditional and conservative creative idea, with the painting techniques of traditional 2D hand-drawn animation style from disney, and there were many nice songs. Although the story, characters, and theme were relatively stable, the story was not as exciting, the pictures were pleasing to the eye, and the scenes were rich. However, Liu Yifei's dubbing of the female lead in the national version was more outstanding. The little wishing star in the film was super cute, and the theme song of the same name sung by the female lead was also very nice. It was more suitable for adults to watch the movie with their children. Watching "Suddenly Looking Back" wasn't satisfying enough. Everyone, please click to read the novel!
