Why is there only 25 episodes and 56 chapters left in Journey to the West?
The original plan for the 86 edition of Journey to the West was to shoot 30 episodes, but due to insufficient funds, five episodes could not be shot. During the post-production editing, some of the scenes added to the episode would make it too long. For example, during the filming of the last episode of " Bo Sheng Ji Le Tian," there was originally a scene where the four of them went to the Chen Family. However, this scene was too long. It was more than an hour and more than 10 minutes, so this part was cut. There were also some cutscenes that were deleted by the television station due to the length of the broadcast. Some of them were not used in the plot due to makeup, character styling, and other reasons. These factors combined led to the final number of episodes being 25. Read more exciting novels for free
