What can be the main plot of an 'inside out bedtime story'?
A possible main plot is that as the person is about to go to sleep, the emotions like Joy, Sadness, Anger, Fear and Disgust have a sort of meeting. They talk about how to make the person have good dreams. Joy might try to bring up happy memories, while Sadness might share how to deal with any sad feelings so they don't turn into nightmares. Anger has to calm down and Fear has to be reassured. They all work together to ensure a peaceful mental state for sleep.
Well, the main plot can center around the journey of the emotions in the mind during bedtime. Imagine the emotions as little beings. They first do a check - up of the day's events stored in the memory. Joy might be excited to relive the happy parts and wants to share it with the other emotions. Sadness might be a bit hesitant as it doesn't want to make the others sad. Anger is trying to keep its temper in check as it's time to relax. Fear is a bit jumpy but the other emotions help it feel safe. And through their interactions and cooperation, they create a calm environment for the person to fall asleep.
The main plot could be about how the different emotions in a person's mind get ready for sleep. For example, they might deal with any leftover feelings from the day.
