On my first day in kindergarten, it was quite an adventure. I woke up early that day, full of anticipation. As I walked through the kindergarten gates, I saw a huge mural on the wall which made me curious. Inside, the classroom smelled like fresh paint and new crayons. I was given a name tag to wear. I found a corner with some stuffed animals and started playing with them. There were some kids crying, but I was too fascinated by the new environment to be sad. I made my first kindergarten friend that day when we both reached for the same teddy bear at the same time. We ended up sharing it and having a great time together.
