Doudou Zhang, a former athlete of the Chinese rhythmic gymnastics team, is now the coach of the Chinese national rhythmic gymnastics team. She was born on July 23, 1996 in Qingxu County, Taiyuan City, Shanxi Province. She was 172 centimeters tall. Zhang Doudou had a special liking for rhythmic gymnastics since he was a child. He started learning at the age of 9 and entered the Chinese national team. In her sports career, she represented the national team in many competitions, including the World Rhythmic gymnastics Championships and the National Games. She won the sixth place in the group all-around at the 2013 World Rhythmic gymnastic Championships, and the sixth place in the group all-around and the sportsmanship award at the National Games of the same year. In 2014, she was awarded the title of an international athlete by the Sports Department of the General Administration of Sports of China. However, her personal ability did not make much of a breakthrough. She had never participated in major international events such as the Olympics. After the 2017 National Games, Zhang Doudou announced her retirement, ending her career in rhythmic gymnastics for more than ten years.
