Why didn't they shoot the second part?
The Quest for Qin was a classic wuxia novel with a grand background and many twists and turns. Although the novel was completed in 2001, it had always been anticipated to be made into a TV series or movie. However, to this day, the story of Qin Xun Ji had not been made into a second film. One of the possible reasons was that the author of the novel, Mr. Jin Yong, had already made it clear that he would not write a second book for the novel. Mr. Jin Yong was a master in the field of martial arts novels. His works had already become cultural classics. His withdrawal might affect the subsequent development of the story. Another possible reason was that the plot in the novel was more complicated. If it was shot into a TV series or movie, it would require more complicated adaptation and creation. Many historical events, character relationships, and moral values involved in the story needed to be studied and discussed in depth in order to present a better effect in television dramas or movies. To sum up, the reason why the second part of the story was not made was probably due to a combination of many factors. However, as a classic wuxia novel, the story and characters of the story are still deeply loved by readers. Its copyright has been purchased by many companies. In the future, it may be adapted into a TV series or movie to present to the audience again.
