Journey to the West: Chapters 50 to 75
"Journey to the West" was one of the famous works of ancient Chinese literature. It told the story of Sun Wukong, Zhu Bajie, and Monk Sand protecting the Tang Monk from the West and finally obtaining the true scripture after 81 difficulties. Chapter Five: Sun Wukong slays demons Sun Wukong was captured by the Great Demon King in the Heavenly Palace, rescued by Tang Sanzang and accepted as his disciple. Tang Sanzang took Sun Wukong, Zhu Bajie, and Monk Sand to the Western Heaven to obtain scriptures. On the way, Sun Wukong and Zhu Bajie made a lot of jokes, and Monk Sand played an important role. They had gone through the dangers and difficulties of the Blazing Mountain, the White Bone Demon, the Spider Demon, the Water Curtain Cave, and finally reached the Western Paradise. Chapter 6 Sun Wukong Beats White Bone Demon Three Times In order to protect Tang Sanzang and himself, Sun Wukong beat White Bone Demon three times and successfully defeated it. After that, Sun Wukong helped Tang Sanzang cross the Yellow Wind Ridge. Chapter Seven: Sun Wukong returns to the East after learning the scriptures Sun Wukong led Tang Sanzang, Zhu Bajie, and Monk Sand back to Tang of the East to complete the mission and obtain the scriptures. During this process, Sun Wukong also got to know many interesting characters such as the Dragon King and Bodhisattva. Chapter Eight Sun Wukong Slaying Demons and Fighting Red Boy Red Boy was Tang Sanzang's biological son. Sun Wukong had gone through many difficulties to find and protect Red Boy. In the end, Sun Wukong successfully found Red Boy and helped him overcome the difficulties. Chapter Nine: Pigsy Becomes a Spirit Zhu Bajie became a monster but was defeated and subdued by Sun Wukong. Together, they protected Tang Sanzang and experienced many adventures along the way. Chapter 10 Sun Wukong vs Red Boy Red Boy and Sun Wukong engaged in an intense battle. Sun Wukong eventually defeated Red Boy. After that, Sun Wukong helped Tang Sanzang cross the Flaming Mountain. Chapter 11: Tang Sanzang's Pilgrimage to the Western Heaven Sun Wukong, Zhu Bajie, and Monk Sand finally arrived at the Western Paradise and obtained the scriptures. Tang Sanzang and his disciples finally completed their mission and returned to Tang of the East.
