Luo Guanzhong (c. 1330-c. 1400) was a novelist, literary critic, dramatist, and ideologist during the Ming Dynasty in China. He was one of the most famous novelists in the history of Chinese literature and was known as the "King of Fictions". Luo Guanzhong lived in the late Ming Dynasty. His works were mainly preserved in the four famous novels, Romance of the Three Kingdoms, Water Margins, Journey to the West, and Dream of the Red Chamber. His works were based on historical events and characters. Through the deep description of characters 'personalities, behaviors and thoughts, he integrated history and reality into one and displayed the essence and charm of Chinese traditional culture. Luo Guanzhong's representative work, Romance of the Three Kingdoms, was hailed as a classic in the history of Chinese literature.
