A research project proposal was a brief introduction to the background, purpose, methods, and research content of the research project at the beginning of an academic paper. The following is an example of a novel project proposal: The purpose of this study is to explore the issue of gender identity in modern urban novels. Through the analysis of modern urban novels, this paper probes into the role setting, behavior performance and gender identity of men and women in the novel, so as to deeply understand the psychological state and values of modern urban women and explore the impact of gender identity on contemporary society. This study used the method of combining literature review and positive research. Through the in-depth study and analysis of relevant literature, this paper sorts out the role setting, behavior performance and gender identity of men and women in modern urban novels. Combined with actual cases, it carries out an experimental study to explore the impact of gender identity on contemporary society. The expected results of this study are: Through the study of gender identity in modern urban novels, we can deeply understand the psychological state and values of modern urban women, explore the impact of gender identity on contemporary society, and put forward corresponding countermeasures and suggestions.
