Luo Guanzhong, Shi Naian, and Cao Xueqin were the authors of the ancient Chinese novel Dream of the Red Chamber. Luo Guanzhong was a novelist of the Ming Dynasty. He had created famous novels such as Romance of the Three Kingdoms and Water Margins. Shi Naian was a novelist at the end of the Yuan Dynasty and the beginning of the Ming Dynasty who wrote famous works such as Water Margins and Journey to the West. Cao Xueqin was a novelist from the Qing Dynasty. He had created famous novels such as " Dream of the Red Chamber " and was hailed as the pinnacle of ancient Chinese novels. It was said that Luo Guanzhong and Shi Naian had used each other as a reference when they created Dream of the Red Chamber, but their creative ideas and styles were different. Cao Xueqin paid more attention to the inner world and emotional description of the characters while Luo Guanzhong paid more attention to the description of history and reality.
