Why was it that Flipping Hands for Clouds only updated a few times a day and couldn't be watched for a fee?
Flipping Hands for Clouds was a Chinese online novel platform that provided various types of novel reading services. Although it provided a pay-to-view function, the number of novels updated every day was limited. This was because the novel was mainly for free readers rather than paid readers. The business model of the novel was to provide free novel reading services to attract a large number of free readers to increase the popularity of the platform and the number of users. Therefore, the number of novels updated every day was relatively high in order to attract more readers. In addition, there was no clear charging standard for the novel, so it was impossible to increase revenue by paying to watch it. Its main source of income was the platform's advertising and virtual goods sales. Therefore, even though Flipping the Cloud novels provided a pay-to-view function, the number of novels updated every day was still quite high, and it could not be used as a main means to increase income.
