I vaguely remember the beginning of the plot
It seemed to be the infinite style. A group of earthlings were transported to a space. One of the male leads had a higher IQ.
The novice mission was to survive in the snow. There were also aliens (lizardmen) fighting. Some humans were killed very miserably.
He remembered that in one of the plots, the Lizardmen committed suicide without hesitation for the survival of their people. The male protagonist marveled at how terrifying these creatures were. Humans had no chance of winning against them.
He had forgotten how the male protagonist and the girl survived.
