Lao She's article, My Mother, described the life, thoughts, and feelings of an ordinary mother, demonstrating the greatness and selflessness of maternal love. This article was first published in 1939 and is still widely read and praised. My mother was an ordinary woman. She had no higher education and no special skills or talents. But she was one of the most touching people in my life. My mother was born in poverty at the end of the Qing Dynasty. When I was young, her job was to take care of the family, cook, wash clothes, and clean. Although she was very busy with work, she always took time to accompany me, tell me stories, teach me singing and read books. She was very kind and hardworking and always tried her best to make our family environment better. When I was growing up, my mother gave me endless love and care. She often told me that she was the pride and hope of her family. She told me that she would always support me and my family. Although my mother did not receive much education, her thoughts and values were very noble. She believed that everyone should contribute to society and help others. She taught me to be kind, honest, hardworking and brave, and told me to be a moral and conscientious person. My mother is one of the most important people in my life. Her spirit and behavior deeply influenced me and made me a strong, kind and responsible person. I feel very lucky and proud to have such a mother.
