The woman left a deep impression on him. He gave the woman an expensive necklace, but the woman did not cherish it and lost it. The merchant felt sad and lost, but he did not give up hope. He decided to search for the necklace and find its whereabouts through various means. In the process of looking for the necklace, the merchant got to know a detective named Arthur Clarke. Together, they investigated the whereabouts of the necklace and finally found out that the real owner of the necklace was a young girl who had lost the necklace during the competition. The girl's parents asked the merchant to compensate for the necklace, but the merchant was unwilling to pay the girl's parents directly, so he decided to use the necklace to build his wealth and reputation. He began to work hard and eventually became a successful businessman.
