A foreign version of Journey to the West
Here are some foreign versions of Journey to the West: - ** US Version **: - In 2001, it was directed by Peter MacDonald and starred by Nick Orton and Bai Ling. - In 2023, Journey to the West, with Yang Ziqiong and Daniel Wu as the leading actors, was adapted from the comic book, The China Man, and the China myth, Journey to the West. It told the story of a Chinese teenager who grew up in the United States who accidentally got involved in China mythology and fought with various immortals. This drama was more exciting in terms of visual effects and fighting, but it had a low rating in the country. There were many shocking plots, such as Sun Wukong having a son, the Bull Demon King becoming a villain and destroying the world of immortals, and the Peach of Immortality turning into an American dance party. It was accused of draping the story of Journey to the West to tell the story of the Western style. Among them, Yang Ziqiong, who played the role of Guanyin, even said lines like "learn English and travel the world". The various gods were also very shocking. - ** Japanese Version **: - In 1940, the black-and-white version of Sun Wukong was filmed. The characters sang and acted at the same time. There were many nonsensical elements in the war background at that time, such as Sun Wukong playing with a machine gun. - In 1978, the TV series Journey to the West was filmed to commemorate the normalisation of diplomatic relations between China and Japan. It was filmed earlier and translated into English and Spanish for broadcast in many countries. It was popular all over the world. This version had made significant changes to the characters according to Japanese aesthetics and preferences. For example, Zhu Bajie was translated as a wild boar, Xuanzang Sanzang was set as a female, and Sun Wukong was portrayed as a fallen hero. The subsequent episodes of Tang Sanzang were also female and added emotional scenes. The three episodes that were broadcast in China were stopped because they were too far from the original. - In the 1993 version of Journey to the West, Tang Sanzang was set as a woman, and there were scenes of him having intimate contact with characters such as Sun Wukong. - In the 1994 version, Sun Wukong's Somersault Cloud was a cannon. When Sun Wukong flew, he stood on the cloud to summon the cannon, lit the fuse, and flew out. - ** Korean Version **: - Starting in 1990, the Korean cartoonist Xu Wanying made an animation of the same name based on his own manga, New Journey to the West. In 1994, it was introduced to China by JiLin TV Station and accompanied by the dubbing of the mainland version. - The 2011 TV series Return of Journey to the West had little to do with the original story. It was about the demons and ghosts sealed by Tang Sanzang who were released and harmed society. - ** Vietnam Version **: 1996 Vietnam version of Journey to the West. Sun Wukong's props and costumes were copied from the 86 version of Central TV's Journey to the West. Watching Journey to the West: Sun Wukong Beats the White Bone Demon Three Times is not enough. The composition of a little intelligent star
The following is an example of an essay about "Little Wisdom Star": The Wisdom Star of Our Class In our class, there is a shining star of wisdom, and that is [Name]. His/her appearance revealed a sense of intelligence. A pair of bright and spirited eyes seemed to be flickering with the light of thinking at all times. There was always a faint smile on the corner of his mouth, as if there was an endless bag of wisdom hidden in it. In class, he/she was like an explorer of knowledge. Every time the teacher raised a question and everyone was still thinking about it, he or she would quickly raise his or her hand. He remembered that once, the math teacher had given a difficult geometry proof question. The students frowned and thought hard about the question. He/she lowered her head slightly and stared at the question. After a while, she raised her hand. He/she stood up and clearly explained his solution to the problem. From the known conditions to the used theorem, he solved the complicated geometry problem step by step. The students all cast admiring gazes. When they encountered difficulties in their studies, they had their own unique solutions. Once, we were faced with an important language exam and had to memorize a large number of ancient poems. Many students were memorizing it, and the effect was not good. He or she would classify the ancient poems according to the dynasty and the poet's style, and write interesting stories according to the artistic conception of each poem. This way, reciting became easy and interesting, and everyone imitated his/her method. In life, his or her wisdom was everywhere. Once, the class organized an outdoor picnic. When they arrived at the destination, everyone realized that they had forgotten to bring a lighter to start a fire. Just as everyone was at a loss, he/she found a magnifying glass and used the principle of focusing sunlight with a magnifying glass to successfully ignite the flammable material and start a fire. He/she was also very helpful. If a student encountered a problem in their studies, he or she would always patiently answer it. He/she was like a walking book of wisdom. Whether it was learning knowledge or small troubles in life, as long as he/she was found, he/she would get a satisfactory answer. His/her wisdom not only made him outstanding, but also warmed and illuminated our entire class like sunlight. The novel "Mars of Paradise" is equally exciting. Everyone is welcome to read it!
