Here are some ways to remember your classmates (in English) during the first week of school: ** I. About my classmate's English level ** 1. ** Class interaction observation ** - Pay attention to how the students answer questions in English class. For example, who could quickly and accurately answer the teacher's questions about grammar, vocabulary, or reading comprehension might indicate that the student had a good grasp of the corresponding English knowledge section. For example, when the teacher asked,"Can you give an example of using the present perfect tense?" Those who can quickly give words like "I have already finished my homework." The students who answered correctly might have a good foundation in grammar. - Observe the students 'performance in the oral practice. If there are some students who have clear, fluent pronunciation, rich and accurate vocabulary, and can perform well in conversation practice, such as in the oral practice of a simulated restaurant ordering, they can naturally say,"I would like to have a steak, medium-rare, and a glass of red wine, please." Such students were relatively good at speaking. 2. ** Homework and Quiz ** - He checked the completion of his English homework. Judging from the accuracy of the homework and the standard of writing. If there were very few misspellings, correct grammar, and neat writing in the homework, then he might have a better grasp of the basic knowledge of English learning. - If there was a small test, analyze the test results. Find out which students scored higher or lower in vocabulary, grammar, reading or listening, so as to grasp their situation in different areas of English knowledge. ** 2. Remembering your classmates 'English learning habits ** 1. ** Class Notes ** - Looking at the way the students took notes. Some students might record in detail every example sentence, grammar point, and word usage that the teacher wrote on the blackboard. For example, for the new word "ambiguous," they would write the example sentence "He gave an ambiguous answer." As well as the word's part of speech, synonym, antonymous, etc., these students might pay more attention to the accumulation of knowledge. - On the other hand, some students might focus more on recording key points or areas that they did not understand. They might be more inclined to grasp the key content to make breakthroughs in their studies. 2. ** Participating in classroom activities ** - Pay attention to which students actively participate in group discussions, role-playing, and other activities. Students who actively participated were often more willing to take the initiative to use English knowledge to improve their language skills. For example, in the group activities that discussed "favorite English movies," students who actively shared their favorite movies and could explain their reasons in English were more proactive in learning English. - Observe which students are more shy or less active. They may need more encouragement to increase their enthusiasm in English learning. Read more exciting novels for free
