Why was Bai Juyi not punished for writing the Song of Everlasting Regret?
The main reasons why Bai Juyi was not convicted for writing "Song of Everlasting Regret" were as follows: - The cultural ecology and social ethos of the Tang Dynasty: The Tang Dynasty attached great importance to poetry, and the social ethos was open and inclusive. In terms of religion, they could tolerate the co-existence of many religions and tolerate all kinds of people. Chang 'an was an international metropolis, and people from all over the world gathered here. In the selection of talents, poetry was an important part of the imperial examination. Poets who wrote poems to the examiners before the examination were not considered corrupt. Under such a cultural environment, poems of various schools, such as frontier fortress poems and new folk songs, could be widely circulated even though they expressed dissatisfaction with certain practices of the Tang Dynasty. For example, Li Bai wanted to enter politics but was treated as a jester by Emperor Ming of the Tang Dynasty. After he resigned angrily, he wrote,"How can I defeat the dignitaries and make me unhappy?" It was not considered to be mocking the emperor. - ** The central control ability of the Tang Dynasty weakened **: After the An Lushan Rebellion, the Tang Dynasty's control over the local areas weakened, and there was the emergence of the "feudal regime" and the "eunuch dictatorship". "Separatist regime" made the local warlords dare not listen to the central command. In the "eunuch dictatorship", although the eunuchs could control the emperor, they could not control the whole country, and it was even more difficult to control the opinions of the intelligentsia. This provided a relatively loose political environment for Bai Juyi's creation, and the New Yuefu Movement flourished. - ** Song of Everlasting Sorrow's own creative characteristics **: - ** Motive of Creation **: The motive of writing this poem is love, and it has nothing to do with sarcasm. In the first year of Yuanhe, Bai Juyi talked about the tragic story of Emperor Ming of Tang Dynasty and Yang Guifei when he was playing with his friends. He was invited by his friends to write, not to persuade the people to live in poverty. - Writing Technique: Bai Juyi avoided the important and dwelled on the trivial in his poem. There was not much content that satirized Emperor Ming of the Tang Dynasty. Instead, he sang praises of him and modified it into a kind of deep emotion. This style of writing was in line with the love stories of the common people and was also recognized by the royal family. Moreover, the beginning of the poem indicated that the emperor in the book was the emperor of the Han Dynasty. Even though the readers knew that the emperor was actually Emperor Ming of the Tang Dynasty, it did not directly imply the emperor of the current dynasty. - [Satisfy the needs of the royal family: The later emperor needed this poem to save face and improve the image of the Li family's emperor, so he adopted a tacit conniving attitude towards this poem.] The novel "Song of Everlasting Sorrow: Morning and Evening" is equally exciting. The interesting things of childhood
"Interesting childhood stories." His childhood was like a box filled with colorful candies, each with a unique sweet memory. When I was in the first grade of elementary school, my mother bought me a beautiful balloon. The balloon was red, like a small fireball. I like it so much that I hold it in my hand all day long. I realized that after blowing up the balloon, I could do a lot of tricks. I first blew the balloon big, then like my mother tying her shoelaces, I carefully wrapped the balloon's air outlet around my hand, and then pinched the remaining balloon with my other hand. After a circle, I tied a knot so that the air wouldn't run out. Then, I rubbed the balloon on my head for about ten times. Then, I put it on my hand and turned it upside down. Something magical happened. The balloon was stuck to my hand like glue. I thought it was fun and flicked the balloon with my hand. The balloon spun like a small top, as if it was dancing. In the end, I suddenly had an idea. I put the balloon on the ground and sat on it. I heard a pop and the balloon burst. The sound scared me, but then I laughed. Another time, my mother asked me to buy salt. I skipped all the way to the store, bought some salt, and walked back. However, on the way, the salt bag was accidentally scratched by a tree branch by the side of the road, and the salt spilled out. I was particularly anxious at that time, thinking that it would not do if the salt was dirty. I used a bowl to scoop up the salt like washing rice and began to wash the salt. In the end, the salt turned into water in a short while. I was wondering why the salt had disappeared. Now that she thought about it, she felt that she was especially silly at that time and couldn't help but laugh. These interesting things from my childhood were like stars, shining in the sky of my memory. Read more exciting novels for free
