The latest news on the reform of English class in primary schools in Shen Zhen
After the start of school in the spring of 2024, there was a major reform in the English class of primary schools in Guangzhou. Judging from the curriculum arrangement, many schools had adjusted the curriculum to implement the curriculum reform of one physical education class per day, and the English class hours were reduced. For example, some children's English classes used to be one class per day plus one foreign teacher's oral class. Now, there were only three English classes per week. The foreign teacher's oral class was directly reduced, and the reduced class was replaced by physical education class. At the same time, there were also changes in the English teaching materials. Under the 2022 edition of the new curriculum standard, the English teaching materials were actually revised. The vocabulary had increased significantly, and relatively complicated words and sentence patterns appeared in advance. The teaching of letters and pronunciation was generally weakened. The content of each unit increased, and the difficulty of vocabulary increased. This had a certain impact on teaching tasks and students 'learning. In such a situation, they relied more on parents' guidance. These reforms attracted widespread attention and different feedback from parents. Some parents supported the curriculum adjustment that focused on physical fitness, while others were worried that the reduction of English class time would affect their children's college entrance examination results or increase the financial burden of extra-cursory tutoring. Third grade glory and dream letter format model essay
Glory and Dreams Dear [recipient's name]: Words were like faces! Dreams were a magical power that could make an ordinary life full of hope and vitality. Since ancient times, countless great people had created extraordinary achievements because of their dreams. I have read many stories of dreams. Like Jet Li, he was born in an ordinary family and had no father since he was young. His childhood dream was to share the family expenses with his mother. As he grew older, his dreams continued to expand, from winning glory for the eight million people in Beijing City, practicing martial arts to becoming a champion, and later becoming a famous actor. Finally, he founded the One Foundation to help more people in need. He made me understand that dreams can evolve with the growth of life experience. There was also Xie Kunshan. At the age of 16, he suffered a serious accident and was physically disabled. He only had one leg left. However, he had the dream of becoming a painter and worked hard beyond the imagination of ordinary people. In the end, he became a well-known professional painter. His story inspires us not to give up on our dreams in the face of difficulties. In my heart, I also have a great dream. I hope that I can become a person who has made a great contribution to society. I want to be like those great scientists, using their wisdom to explore the unknown world and invent all kinds of useful things to make people's lives more convenient and beautiful. Or become a brave soldier, protect our country, protect our people, and not let our country be invaded. I know it's not easy to realize your dreams. This requires me to study hard from now on and accumulate knowledge. Just like how one had to master a large amount of scientific knowledge to become a scientist, one had to have a strong physique and a tenacious will to become a soldier. I will start from small things in my daily life to cultivate my character and ability. I also know that my dream is not just my own, it is also closely related to our great motherland. Our motherland is constantly developing and has a glorious future. I hope that my dream can be integrated into the development of the motherland and contribute to the prosperity of the motherland. This is my dream, a dream full of glory and hope. I believe that as long as I persevere and work hard, I will definitely be able to achieve it. Good luck!
