The copyright of a photographic work protected the original expression of the creator, not the product itself. Photographic works were one of the objects protected by the copyright law. They needed to be original and meet the requirements of the copyright law. The copyright was mainly for the unique creative parts of the author's work, such as the angle of shooting, the use of light, composition, and other creative elements. This meant that others could not copy, distribute, modify, or otherwise violate these copyright-protected creative elements without permission. However, if the product itself refers to the physical object of the photographic work, such as a building, the copyright does not prevent others from reasonably exploiting the physical object or creating new works related to it (of course, if the product is protected by special intellectual property rights, such as some products protected by special design patents). For example, other people could take photos of the building to create their own photography works or use the building in other reasonable ways without violating the copyright of the photography works. In short, the copyright of a photographic work mainly protected the part of the work that reflected the creator's creativity, not the object itself. Read more exciting novels for free
