LIKEnah it's true. i had read hundreds of chinese mtl and eeve is indeed called ibrahimovic, it's not that ibrahimovic is the name of eeve in chinese but the chinese character when "raw-ly" tranlsated turn into ibra. and a lot more. your head will explode when trying to read pokemon chinese ff.

C'est juste qu'ils ne prennent même pas la peine de retenir les noms. Tant que c'est en chinois, ils les substituts en leurs noms. Par exemple dans Naruto quand Hokage se transforme en Naruto. Tu t'y perd forcément. Y'en a encore comme Ash se transforme en Xiaochi C'est tellement rageant 🤬
Put yourself in my shoes, a person who isn't even English. Because in my country too, the names of the Pokemon are different. I even imagine that this is the case for many countries like Germany. In other words, if I watched this fanfiction, I would have Chinese pokemon names mixed with English names. It's horrible for me. So don't feel too bad. Tell yourself that there are people who are in a more "delicate" situation than yours.
Razish:cuz it's Chinese mtl... Chinese name for eevee is something else and after translation it's Ibrahimovic .. not only eevee, most of the Pokemon name is different in China...
oh, m really sry if my comment was misunderstood, i just wanted to say that transaltion any language to language we want is difficult, as the translation system is not well developed/accurate yet...

Oh, I see, I also want to apologize for not having understood the meaning of your comment. You're right, but from my personal experience, I'm used to reading things with system translation, and the majority of English fanfiction that I read, they were very well readable and faultless. The only problems that I have encountered several times come from the automatic translation from countries such as Japan or China, the translations via system translation are atrocious. I don't know if you've ever tried to read the sequel to an LN/WN that you liked on the official Japanese site where it's published, but I've done it several times, and I can tell you that in most of the time my brain burns while reading.
