Someone please teach me how to write a story . (Random question i know ) i love written storys cause they sort of help me i out a bit with my format and other things

I'd love to help you, but I myself couldn't be said to be a good writer where I can teach people how to write a good story. In the first place, I started writing due to my favourite novel is either already ends or the chapter update is too slow. I can't wait for that much! And so, I thought, why not write my own story? And here we are. 😅

Think of a main character, then think of an (initial) goal for your MC, then think of the tools your MC will use to achieve their goal and then think of *some* important characters that will appear throughout the story (such as companions, remarkable enemies, masters, rivals, family, lovers, etc) [*just think of basics otherwise you might get too attached to something fixed and lose flexibility; people may be changed/ removed/ added to fit the story better *]. Once you have the basic structure above you choose between two "styles" of writing. 1) "Discovery Writing"; 2) "Planned Writing". The difference being the latter has a *base* plotline set since the start of the story/ arc/ volume while on the former 'you plot as you write' meaning you write what seems the best at that moment and you work with what you have in hands. For some genres, such as mystery-suspense, planned writing is, by default, a better choice. However, most of the times, the deciding factor will be the author's personality and what they try to portray in their story; so just do what feels the most comfortable for you. **I am NOT an author and barely have any experience in writing. These are just my thoughts on the matter and what I think could work.
