For some reason these authors always like the mc to give away their money, land, Valyrian steel, dragons and whatever other valuables that they have for no apparent reason other Than to weaken themselves. Personally if I was writing the book I would have done the girl a favour and killed her so she wouldn’t have to live with all of the trauma of her previous experiences.
