It would take in their magic/ki that they release naturally (their ki signatures are made of it), and use that to reinforce and enhance the planet (planets would grow faster, animals would be numerous, and it would even invigorate the energies in its inhabitants, making it so the average power level would grow over time, and it would have more magic/ki available); while doing the same to itself, and using that energy, make it invisible to those weaker than the shield. With it going through time, so no one can just look to the Past, look where it was to go there in the present; their sight would be blocked, AKA no villain seeing your wishes and using them for themselves.
