If there is something I don't like is mcs being given powers just for existing. Moreover, the story feels like it doesn't have a clear plan. Without mentioning that sometimes it feels like the story lacked enough research about the type-moon world. The story has potential but it lacks something that would compel me to stay
This mf only has three brain cells. One for thinking "The road ahead will be difficult", another for thinking "I have friends, they will help me" and the last one for "do I deserve to have friends?". Repeat them in the same order and we have his whole life written/ He really likes to hear his own voice
I understand how important is that the mcs thoughs be understood but there is such a thing as over-explaining. Half of these last chapters have been about the mc steeling his resolve only to come back to self-doubt. Once would have been enough. There is a reason why "show and not tell" is such an important concept. We don't need to know everything the mc is thinking
Half of this novel has been about how civilized he is and how savage are the others
Even drunk I can see that this MC fucking sucks
Would a civilized man really need to repeat so much how civilized he is?
kono hito denashi!
There are honestly a lot of loopholes he could use. For, example, the simplest would be to wish for immortality to his system. Or, he could make a department in his kingdom explicitly to the research of immortality and he could give them some clues with his modern knowledge. I mean, we are already using technology to increase the lifespan of certain dogs. In case the research takes too much time, he could request the future knowledge that the institute or department is going to get or use cryogenic sleep on fern until the medicine is ready. Alternatively, he could make fern into a demon using magic. After all, he already has a precedent in himself
He should be able to use "Golden Rule", "Wisdom of Dún Scáith" and his other skills to make a better kingdom, right? I really wonder why he didn't used them during the dream. I hope the author hasn't forgotten about it
Well, no surprise there. He is actually Satan
