This chapter cemented how annoying Eris is. Hopefully she gets better ASAP, it was painful to read. Still cool to see Rudy fighting Ghislaine though.
Early Eris is so difficult and irritating. I wish Rudy luck 😂
I really like how this Rudy handled Sylphie, its much better than 'Argh those kids are evil racist bullies, lets demonize them and I'll be your *only* friend.' An actually reasonable approach. Also like how he gets to Roa, by apprenticing with Ghislaine rather than Paul forcing him to go. Keep up the good work 👏
And here we go. Looking forward to seeing how you write Eris and the other Greyrats. It'll also be fun to see how Rudy stacks up to Ghislaine at this point. Looking forward to the next one 👍
Hm, kind of glossed over what was supposed to be kind of a big emotional bit, but that's fine, especially as Rudy is more mature than his Canon counter part. Surprised that he's considered an S-rank adventurer already and I feel like his relationship with Sylphie is being speed skipped, but all is fair when you're the author. Keep up the good work 👍
I enjoy seeing how strong this Rudy is becoming. It'll be fun to see how the dynamic with Eris will be, since at this point he outmatches her both physically and intellectually. Plus now I'm wondering how Paul will even get him to the city or if that'll even end up being neccesary with the better Paul/ Rudy dynamic. Anyway, keep up the good work 👏
So far this story features a far more confident and socially adept Rudeus, which is extremely appreciated, as well as avoiding demonizing certain characters that many other stories tend to bash on. A little slower paced, but if the update speed continues, that's fine.
Adding the brackets was appreciated, the this chapter was a tiny bit slow. Still looking forward to the next chapter 👍
Ahhh, I was wondering when the next update was coming. Bravo, excellent showing of a nascent Darkseid's abilities. Hope the next few chapters diverge from the Runaways plot as I have very little knowledge of that show, but I'll be around and reading eagerly regardless.
Eyyyy, and here's Sylphie. Nice to see. I do wish the pace got picked up a bit, but I'm patient and used to long fics. I do like how you didn't immediately villainize the kids, bullying isn't acceptable, but they're still just young and dumb kids raised in a xenophobic society, they aren't exactly pure evil. Looking forward to the next one 🤙
