Zombie In A Zombie Apocalypse

The world before the fall - Less than a millennium ago, the world had wars, treaties, dialogues, mishaps, however, all this happened amongst humans themselves. Humans loved and hated, seeing the world a few millimetres away from their nose. Then... meteorites fell. Not meteorites that blew up the world, but ones that carried a type of radioactivity that enhanced the strength and speed of a living thing, taking their senses and reasoning ability at the expense. It was a fantasy that the world had always dreamed about, but has also always dreaded. Zombies. Emitting infectious fumes, these meteorites affected the whole world. Nothing was spared. Until, centuries later when humans learnt to utilize the meteorites. Making a serum out of it, a serum that forced an evolution in the human specie without infecting their minds. Thus, humans with abilities were born. Great walls were built to keep the infected world out, while the humans slowly fought to conquer earth and take back what was rightly theirs from the hands of 'monsters'. ***** Then, centuries later. A child was born, one so weak and powerless that even Ceteorin serums could do nothing to change his fate. However, Jesse Louis whose life was overturned by a zombie breach suddenly binds with a system that changed him and his life forever. Monster 2

"Ah! P-please." The man begged as Billy turned to look at him with his greyed out eyes.

He pleaded, but as his pleas fell on deaf ears, he pulled out a dagger with his quivering hands in hope of defending himself, "Stay away from me, you monster."

"Monster?" Billy's tilted his head, "Who the fuck are you calling a monster?" He moved the crate away, slowly walking towards the man, who had hit a shelf.

"You just fucking killed a person! And y-you look like a god damn infected." He lowered his voice when speaking out his latter thoughts, flailing his dagger wildly in an attempt to keep Billy away.

"Wishing to be strong does not make me a monster!" Raising his voice in annoyance, he stabbed his claws into the man's head, clenching his fist as he crushed the man's skull like the doorknob he broke earlier.

"Damnit." Billy cursed underneath his breath, shoving the brain matter and torn flesh into his mouth, "You taste awful."

He picked up the dead man's hand and pulled out a ring from his index finger, the ring glowed, proving that it was a spatial storage ring. Billy wiped the bloody ring on his hoodie and thankfully, it had no security passwords.

Billy emptied everything from the crate inside the ring before leaving. Though, he made sure to light a fire before leaving the store. He was not dumb enough to leave traces of himself in a crime scene. The store had no anti-fire measures anyway.

He did not return home from there, instead, he boarded a train to the sixth city wall with the money he found in the storage ring. It was easy to leave the seventh wall city since the train he boarded was a first class business train, it did cost him a lot of money, but thankfully, the money wasn't his.

The bus which was supposed to pick up students from the seventh wall city left a few days ago, so Billy decided to travel to the sixth wall city to join the students there, the probability of meeting Jack was also high; It'll be nice to drag him down from his high place and tear him apart.

A smile formed on Billy's lips as he imagined just how good the good-for-nothing would taste.

Billy arrived at the terminal by midnight. The city was lit up with bright lights and it was a lot safer compared to the seventh wall city, hence, he slept by the terminal along with a few students who came from the seventh wall city, too.

--

The next day came like a blur, and everything that happened felt like a blur to Billy. His skin was still pale, but now looked human enough, his eyes, too, had gone back to normal. Hence, blending in among normal people wasn't too hard.

The students were taken to the a place in the sixth wall city, and all Billy could imagine was how nice it'll be to live in such a place, with respect from the entire world. But, the fancy sixth wall city was probably a lot duller compared to the first wall city.

As they drove further in, the students remained calm as most of them had lived in the sixth wall city all their life, however, the students from the seventh wall city could not hide their excitement.

"I am Agent Samuel, and I shall be your guide today." The agent who had picked them up, stood up.

"I am well aware that a few of you are residents of the seventh wall city, and I shall not ask why you missed your own bus. However, as you all I gathered here today, I shall treat you all as students of the sixth wall city." His cold voice caused some of the students to shrivel up in their seats.

"You shall go through a test before you'll be admitted into SSAD - a fight against infecteds."

The students gasped in surprise.

"Do not worry as they're merely unevolved infecteds, they're not harmful to you as long as you've awakened. Therefore, kindly inform me if you're not awakened yet." He squinted his eyes as he said the last part, looking at the students carefully.

Compared to the students from the seventh wall city, the students from the sixth wall city were more precious, hence, he had to warn them beforehand.

Billy looked away from the agent, he stared at the view outside the window and a frown formed on his face, though he was strong now, he still could not use any abilities.

"Anyway." Agent Samuel cleared his throat when the students remained quiet, "If you were not scouted by an agent, please, write your name and your ability here." Using telekinesis, he passed a notepad and a pen around.

Billy grabbed the notepad when it reached his side, he wrote down his full name, then with a short minute of contemplation, he recalled how his body transformed when his strength was at its peak, therefore, he wrote 'transformation' as his ability. If he ends up awakening with another ability, all would be in his favour.

He made sure to scan the notepad for Jack Efron before passing it to the back.

They were immediately transported to a strange place, a vast dry expanse of land, and behind them stood a large tall wall. The agent had long disappeared along with the bus.

"Hey."

Billy turned when he heard the students whispering.

"My brother told me they called off the test for the students from the seventh wall city."

"Ha! Really?" Another student gasped.

"He said they found an evolved zombie in their radar." The student continued, "But after pulling out the students, they couldn't find the zombie, like it disappeared into thin air."

More gasps erupted from the students as Billy walked away from them in disinterest.

"Didn't they hold the test here? If they didn't find the zombie, it means it's still here."

"God damn it, don't scare me like that."

Billy walked further away until he could no longer hear their voices and only the wall could be seen from the distance away. He remembered what the agent said, "The more infecteds you kill, the higher your rank in the academy, so do your best. Remember, we'll be watching."

He finally found a horde. His claws elongated as he charged towards them. In less than an hour, the sand was covered in blood and crushed corpses. Billy raised his head and smiled wryly.

"How nice."

Killing more than half of the entire zombie population by himself, he earned the rank of number one.

Jesse gasped for air as his eyes popped open; it felt like he was suddenly pulled out from the depth of the ocean.

"Hey, hey!" Mei called out to him in a bid to calm him down, but her hand was swatted away.

"What the fuck? Who the fuck are you?" A curse escaped his lips.
