In the far right corner of the room two silhouettes were sitting in a chair while two guards stood behind them.
'The majority of this room is brightly lit, I can see everything clearly, I can even see the damned dust floating, yet why the hell is that one corner so dark?'
Auo dared to walk down the mini-hallway and take a closer look.
Auo gulped at the image that was displayed to him.
Two patients sat three meters away from each other. They too sat in metal chairs, but they were strapped down like they were prisoners of war.
Their whole entire body was strapped, their feet, legs, waist, torso, chest, arms, shoulders, and even their heads. Both seemed to have their heads down and Auo felt pity towards them.
'They must be the craziest ones around here then...'
Not only were they unnecessarily tied up, but they wore black blindfolds that seemed like it was too tight. They even wore chin-mouth straps that prevented them from talking or moving their mouths.
'That's some serious BDSM sh*t right there…'
Auo's face heated up once he thought this, and his once pale face turned a crimson red.
"I didn't know you swung that way…", Satsu Ri commented.
Satsu Ri was observing Auo like he was some kind of new species.
Auo didn't even notice her approach him.He turned his head to look at Satsu Ri.
"The hell are you-"
"You were looking at those two patients and then your face turned as red as a tomato, am I wrong?"
Satsu Ri displayed a taunting look on her face, it was like she wanted to see Auo snap out of fury.
Auo's face had finally returned to its normal state by then and he looked Satsu Ri straight in the eye.
Her eyes were grayer than usual and were full of confidence. However, her eyes faltered once Auo's eyes laid on hers.
'My Lord, he already has the same look as these Loose Screws...'
Auo shrugged.
"I'm not going to deny that, I did blush. And to answer your question I don't really know. I mean how could I, when my memories got sucked away from you leeches- I mean," Auo cleared his throat, " I can't even see their bodies clearly, let alone their faces so I have no attraction for them."
Auo tilted his head to the side and narrowed his eyes. His eyes wore an accusing seal to it.
"And even if I were gay, does it matter? Just like race, just like financial status, why does it matter? It should have never mattered."
Satsu Ri furrowed her eyebrows and gritted her teeth. Once again, she was the one who was angered rather than Auo.
You could consider Satsu Ri part of the wealthy class.
Her father was the CEO of the company that supplied the technology devices and Wi-Fi to the Yemince Program.
He made billions a year just by selling Carly and the Y.A.R.D device, except the Y.A.R.D device wasn't sold to the public but something similar to it was.
She was always pampered when she was young. She lived in a nice neighborhood, went to a nice school, and went to a nice college.
She would usually hear on the news how hoodlums were always stealing and killing people. She knew people who lived in neighborhoods like that were people you should stay away from.
Even though some people were afraid of that particular neighborhood, or afraid of particular people, they never looked down upon them and just felt pity for them. However, Satsu Ri was the complete opposite.
She looked down upon those who earned less than her family, she never interacted with the so-called 'hoodlums', even if they got a scholarship to go to her school, even if they went to the same coffee shop she liked to go to, even if they went to the same library as her, she never wanted to be with them and much less look at them.
'Of course stuff like that matters! Are you trying to break our already established system?' Satsu Ri thought.
'You're just a kid who can't even remember the events that occurred in your life. You shouldn't even be talking. Our economy would plummet and secured jobs would go to the likes of cockroaches. I don't care much about who you love, even though I find it disgusting. But once it involves me, I'll do everything in my power to break you.'
Satsu Ri wanted to say all of these things but she held her tongue. She didn't want to get into another altercation with a patient.
"This is where I say goodbye to you, "Satsu Ri began, " remember what I told you earlier. If you forgot, then that is your problem. Good day."
Satsu Ri spun on her heels, carrying his duffle bag, and click-clacked her way out of the room.
Auo stood there with a dumbfounded expression. He had raised his right eyebrow and put his hand out as if to protest.
'Did what I say offend her by any chance? I know Satsu Ri isn't the most likable person, but... Either way, even if what I said did offend her, she's just gonna leave me here like this? That's too unprofessional, I want to change my doctor ASAP.'
