Zhang Fei asked nonchalantly. "Do you have a problem with me holding Guo Lan's hand, Han Jue?"

Han Jue raised his eyebrows, he was shocked to see Zhang Fei's change, because not only his physique had changed, but his mentality had also changed. "Beat him!" Han Jue shouted commanding the four people behind him.

The four people did not immediately attack Zhang Fei, especially after they saw the condition of Han Jue's hand, then they took the iron rod near them.

Guo Lan was shocked to see that, she tugged at Zhang Fei's sleeve. "We have to get out of here right now, Fei!"

But Zhang Fei turned to her with a smile, then gently patted Gui Lan's head making her blush, as he said. "You stay behind, Lan. Let me handle them."

"But-"

"Trust me, okay?"

Guo Lan didn't know why Zhang Fei was so confident, she then nodded, and immediately retreated back away from them.

*Clang… Clang…*

Four of Han Jue's men immediately surrounded Zhang Fei, as they pounded the iron rods in their hands into the ground. The people around them were horrified to see that, but no one dared to help Zhang Fei.

"Quickly beat him to a pulp!" Han Jue shouted, as he endured the excruciating pain in his hand. Hearing that, the four immediately swung their iron rods at Zhang Fei.

"Watch out, Fei!" Guo Lan shouted from behind, she was afraid something would happen to Zhang Fei.

*Clang… Clang…*

Zhang Fei gave a slight smirk at their actions, then he casually dodged their attacks, as he inwardly muttered. 'Is this also the effect of the Divine Senses? Their movements seem so slow.'

Mei laughed. [Of course, Master. After all they are mere mortals, so their movements are meaningless in your eyes. But if your enemies are cultivators, especially those who rely on speed, then you won't be able to dodge their attacks this easily.]

The person fell to the ground hard, and instantly lost consciousness. The other three looked at Zhang Fei in horror, they immediately turned around and ran away.

Guo Lan's and the crowd's jaws dropped, because Zhang Fei was able to jump so far, and Guo Lan inwardly exclaimed excitedly 'Fei is amazing! He's become so strong now!'

Fortunately, none of them died, but they won't be able to move for a long time.]

Guo Lan blushed again, she wanted to let go of her hug, but suddenly Zhang Fei hugged her back, it made her face reddened, and she said shyly. "I don't mind if you hug me, Fei."
