Chapter 6 :

WRITER'S POV

The journey was rather silent . On the other hand Alex was seen in the office doing nothing since morning. After sometime Noah,Olivia and Amelia arrived. Noah,"we are here ladies,your stuffs will be taken in by the boys ,feel free to explore the house l will get back to work ."

The girls alighted and Olly pulled Amelia inside the house.

AMELIA'S POV

The house was so large but before l could have a good look at it ,l was pulled inside by Olly and the interior wowed me and l could not help but ask,"Olly does Noah live alone in this house?"

"No,infact he lives here with three more people ."

"Isn't it bad that we didn't inform them before we got here?"

"No nothing is wrong because Noah will inform them ."

After sometime of silence Olivia spoke up,"Let me take you around the house."

Olivia took Amelia to different rooms in the house and lastly she showed her,her room and Amelia's stuffs were there.

WRITER'S POV

James and Peter are in their office doing some paper work and also they are restraining Alex from going back home,but after a while Noah enters the office and Alex is the first to speak up."Have they arrived safely?"

"Yes but you know very well that you can't go back home at this time of the day so go back to your office and get some work done."

Alex sighed and left for his office, the rest went back to their work and office respectively.

Back in Alex's mansion , Olivia was helping Amelia to unpack her stuffs in her room that was next to Alex's unknown to Amelia. Cassie knocked,"come in,"

Cassie walked in and ,"hi madam Olivia ."

"hi,meet my friend Amelia and we will be staying here."

"Okay excuse me."

Cassie walked out of the room and Amelia asked Olivia"who is she ?"

"She is the mansion maid ."

They continued unpacking and arranging the room.

After they were through it was in the evening and Olivia suggested that they should go swimming and left to the back of the house .

Alex,Noah ,James and Peter were preparing themselves to head back home .

Olivia, "Mel l think l will get our towels l am kind of tired ."She didn't wait for her reply and she left and on her way back the men had arrived and James and Peter went to refresh ,she gave Alex the towel ,"take this to her at the pool."

Alex took the towel and left,Olivia pulled Noah to their room to .....

Alex reached the pool and Amelia's back was facing him,"hi"

Amelia turned abruptly and faced him then the colour of her face was drained.

AMELIA'S POV

l was waiting for Olly to get back with my towel but a male voice made me turn abruptly and came face to face with him .Oh ,no it's him my mind replayed what l did to him and l knew that he also remembers me judging with the way he was looking at me. My train of thoughts was cut when he wrapped the towel around me.

ALEX'S POV

When l arrived ,she was backing me and when she turned she froze on the spot ,l was also frozen as she was more beautiful now that she was only in her bikini set only but she had a not fully recovered scar in her stomach area.l was fully aroused just by looking at her ,l wrapped the towel around her body and decided to break the tension which was arising.

"l am Alexander Grey,"

"Hi,l am Amelia Cruz."

"Remember me?"

"Yes and am sorry for what l did ."

"No need to be sorry instead l am happy that you did it because you would be living with us now."

"Why are you happy about me staying with you here,and are you also living here?"

"Yes l am ."

"l know that you are not giving me the real reason so please tell me the real reason as to why all this,"

Alex sighed ,"okay the reason is l know you won't believe what l am about to say but l fell in love with you ."

Amelia looked at him as if he had grown a second head and Alex continued ,"see l told you that you won't believe what l am saying but l will not pressure you into anything at all ,l will protect you but it will be your choice to decide whether to grant my wish or not."

Amelia's eyes turned teary and she hugged him and sobbed silently into his shirt ,Alex parted her wet hair and after sometime they parted and Amelia spoke up,"l am sorry."

"It's okay angel l will freshen up,see you after sometime."

Alex walked back to his room and Amelia laid down on the pool beds and the first people to come back were Olivia and Noah.

Noah jumped into the pool and Olly took a seat beside Amelia,"Mel are you okay?"

"Yes am good."

There was silence and the next people to arrive were James and Peter.

Peter was the first to speak,"hi, l am Peter Wills girlfriend to James Cruz."

"Hi,l am Amelia Cruz."

"You are also Cruz, oh! wow you got beautiful hair unlike some other people,can l braid it up for you?"

"It's her first day here and you are offering to style her hair and up to date you have never offered me such a service." Olly pouted her lips.

"You know l hate short hair but when you hair grows longer l offer you my service , Amelia let me get my stuff l will be right back and before l forget welcome to the family."

Peter rushed back inside ,James who was silent all this while spoke up,"welcome to the family Amelia."

"Thank you."

James jumped into the pool and after some time Peter was back with his stuffs and began doing Amelia's hair. Minutes passed and Alex walked back with a dog trailing on his back .

"Did you have to let that dog come here right now?"Olly asked.

The dog barked several times then it landed it's eyes on Amelia, it jumped on her lap and licked her face,Amelia patted it's head and everyone was looking at her .

"Why are you all looking at me like that?"

"It's just that this dog has never got closer to anyone before apart from its owner and having it get close to you it's a surprise."Olly explained.

Alex joined the others in the pool.

Evening passed by and night was approaching ,Peter had finished braiding Amelia's hair and they all went to there rooms to change before dinner to be served.
