"Guys are you all like, really tired?" I asked them as I collected all the bowls from the deserts that we all had just finished.

"Depends on what you are asking for", Joe replied.

"Shopping... That's why", I replied with a grin.

"It's afternoon now and on top of that we all are jet lagged", my mom said.

"No need to go for shopping today. Do it tomorrow", my dad said.

"It's fine with me just the pre-wedding photoshoot is.....!!" I tried to use tactic but unfortunately it didn't work.

"When?"

"The day after tomorrow".

And as I said it they all looked at me making a face that clearly let me know that all of them are going to hit the sack now and they no longer had any interest in listening to my bullshits. As they started to walk out of the room B came towards me and looked at me. I moved my face and looked at him with a frown.

"What?"

"No one gives a damn about you", B said teasing me.

I rolled my eyes.... Jarin came to me and said, "Good night babe.... I'm really tired".

"Yeah, go ahead and sleep. Good night".

B gave her some deadly stares before she went back to her room. After she was gone my dad came to me. B figured out that my dad had something to talk with me so he left us alone and told me that he was going to wait in the car for me.

"Dad, is something wrong?"

My mom came from behind my dad and said, "Where is Raidan? We were supposed to meet him today",

"Exactly what I was gonna ask, see how well your mom knows me", my dad said with a laugh.

Three of us laughed.

"Well, he was supposed to..... but I guess he hasn't returned yet. Remember I had told you about his job as a professor?"

"Yeah I remember",

"See if you hadn't said that this guy is B, we would have thought of him as Raidan. I mean you both seem really close", my mother said.

And from her tone I can clearly understand what she meant to say. She wants to know, actually both of them want to know if there's something more to my relationship with B. Actually me and my dad, we aren't super free with each other. We are free but at a certain limit. And when it comes to things like these my dad would have my mom talk about these with us.

"Well you bet...!!! We both are really close. I'm the closest with him among all the boys in the club. He's like a, brother like friend", I said with a sparkling expression.

"Good to hear. He seems like a good guy", my father said.

"Yeah and the elderlis really like him", I said to him.

"So, I guess we aren't getting to meet our son-in-law today" my dad said.

To be honest with you, I had never thought that I will be having a life partner, that my parents will have someone to call son-in-law. Because I always thought that I'll die alone. And even though I had always loved Raidan and wished to be with him, to be very honest all of those seemed like daydream to me. Because I didn't even know if he existed. So the fact that my parents actually got someone to call son-in-law, is actually a bit heart touching for me.

"Seems so" I said with a grin.

Exactly at that time, we heard a knock on the door. And the person knocking on the door asked, "May I come in?"

We looked back and I saw him, Raidan. He looks really tensed. Well yeah I can tell his moods now. I guess that's what closeness does to you. He looked as if he'd came here straight from airport. I really appreciate his sense of responsibility.

"Yes please", I said almost sounding

as panic.

"Take a seat", I added as he entered the room.

He didn't sit though, he kept standing up as my parents were also standing up. This is called being mannerful.

"Mr. Zedd, Mrs. Zedd, such an honor to finally being able to meet you", he said as he extended his hand toward my father for a hand shake.

My dad shaked his hand and gestured him to sit down on the couch as they also sat down on the couch. My dad and mom were still unaware that this guy infront of them is actually Raidan. And that's why they both looked at me with a confused face. I looked at them and then I looked at Raidan. He was also blankly expecting an answer.

"Oh, mom dad, this is Raidan. Don't you remember how he looked?" I said teasing my parents.

"We do, we were just confused because of B", my mom said.

And now Raidan was giving me one of his deadly stares. I got chills all over me.

"Raidan, so good to meet you. Actually we have been waiting all evening", my dad said to him.

"I'm sorry. Actually the flight was delayed. So, it took time to get here", he said politely.

"It's alright. Things like that can happen. We understand. But too bad that everyone has fallen asleep", my mom said to him.

"That's given. It's alright I'll meet them tomorrow. Anyways it's too late today and you all are jet lagged as well", Raidan replied.

"Yeah, that's true. Jet lag is killing us", my dad said.

"You must be jet lag and well, right?" my mom asked him.

"Yeah, but I'm fine", he replied.

"That's good to hear. Okay, so now if you don't mind we'll go to our room as well", my dad said.

"Sure, good night. Take care of yourself", Raidan replied with a smile.

My parents were leaving but I stopped them. Cause they needed to lock the door after I leave. Well, I was supposed to go with B, but I guess now I'm going with Raidan instead. My mom locked the door after I left. And I walked with Raidan towards the parking lot.

"Are you tired?" I asked him, because he looked really tired.

"Still manageable", he replied with a half hearted smile .

"You look really tensed out there", I asked out of concern.

"It's the first time I met my father-in-law and mother-in-law, so it's normal to be a little tensed", he gave a soft chuckle.
