Avians now sat silently in a restaurant with two women she knew in front of her. Meanwhile, her two personal bodyguards were asked to guard the door of the restaurant in the mall.
They could still see inside, but they couldn't hear Avians' conversation with the two women.
Cecillia and Zoey, after they earned a lot of money from Adrian, they chose to change their lifestyle to one filled with luxury. They bought many expensive branded items to their heart's content.
However, it wasn't enough for them. After seeing the Avians finally marry Adrian, they felt that the Avians' lives were much more luxurious than theirs while their money kept running out after buying all those things.
"You know how much it cost me from the time I gave birth to you until you grew up, huh? You want to forget all that? I gave birth to you, took care of you, fed you and everything. And then you left me without paying me anything?" asked Cecillia, demanding all the things she had done for Avians over the years.
Obviously this was not the right thing to do, but Cecillia's greed that felt Avians should pay for all that she had done, made her blind to the motherly love that she should have genuinely given.
'You never even looked at me whenever I needed you...' Avians thought.
Avians head bowed, she didn't know what to answer. She was also speechless when faced with her mother and younger sister at this time. They were her biological family who should have encouraged and supported her, but they treated her the opposite.
"Why are you silent? Don't you have a mouth?!" snapped Cecillia.
"Y-yes, mom. I understand... I'll pay you everything you ask for all the things you've done for me," Avians replied fearfully.
"Good, you finally came to your senses. Besides, make yourself a little useful to mom by paying for everything, you're useless!" Zoey snapped at Avians.
"I'm sorry."
They also asked for $50 million as a start. Gradually, they would meet the Avians again to ask for more money, arguing that giving birth risked lives and with a lot of money could only pay for the lives that were risked.
"Then let's go now, mom. Let's go shopping again!" said Zoey.
"Right, watch out if you dare report this to Adrian. I won't hesitate to beat you up, understand?" Cecillia asked as she pushing hard the Avians on the head.
The dark-haired woman could only nod at her mother's words. Cecillia and Zoey left leaving Avians alone in that place. She tried to hold back her tears because she didn't want to cry in public.
But her chest felt so tight. Why did her biological mother treat her like that?
She had always tried her best to make her parents proud.
But it was always Zoey that they saw and noticed. Avians could only always see her parents smiling at Zoey, not her.
Not wanting to get lost in sadness, Avians chose to go home so she could release her sadness.

Arriving home, Avians was reunited with Jonnah who welcomed her home.
"Welcome home, Miss Avians. How was your day?" asked Jonnah.
For a moment Avians was silent, remembering what had just happened, she smiled and replied that her day was fine.
"Here... Mochi for you, Jonnah," said Avians, handing Jonnah the box of mochi she bought earlier.
"F-for me?" the head butler asked upon receiving the box.
"Yes, it tastes very good. I hope you'll like it," the woman replied.
Jonnah had refused because he felt he couldn't take it and said to give it to Adrian instead. But the Avians had already bought one for her husband. So the mochi remained for Jonnah.
The middle-aged man smiled in acceptance, he felt that Avians was really nice, just like Adrian.
"Thank you then, Miss Avians."
Avians nodded and went to her room out of exhaustion. She lay down on the bed while hugging Adrian's pillow. Smelling the man's scent, it was as if she was eager to shed her sorrow in Adrian's arms.
However, if she did, Adrian would know she was meeting with her mother and sister. Since she should have left the house, Adrian had forbidden her from communicating with them again.
She did not expect to meet them at the mall that day.
"Ian..." Avians kept calling Adrian's name and hugged her husband's pillow tightly.
Just being around him, Avians felt so calm and comfortable. She hoped Adrian would come home soon and could feel his warm touch on her again.

Later that afternoon, Adrian finally arrived home after attending several meetings that day. Jonnah greeted him as usual while telling him about Avians who had gone out for four hours accompanied by two bodyguards Adrian had appointed.
"Where is she now?"
"She is in her room right now, Mr. Adrian. Probably resting," Jonnah replied, helping Adrian remove his coat.
The man went up the stairs to his room with the Avians. Upon opening the door, he saw his wife asleep on the bed hugging her pillow.
Adrian's gray eyes then fell on the mochi box on his desk with a note that read 'For Ian'.
Adrian opened the box and tried to eat one mochi inside. He was quite impressed with the taste which he thought suited him.
"You know what I like..." he muttered.
He sat on the edge of the bed and gently rubbed the head of the sleeping Avians. The innocent and calm face of the sleeping Avias made him feel calm as well.
On some nights, Avians would sometimes cry in her sleep. However, after two weeks since she was last like that, it no longer happened, and now almost a month had passed since their marriage.
"You're much better when you fall asleep more peacefully, Avi," Adrian said rubbing Avians cheek gently.
The touch of his fingers slowly descended to the woman's soft lips, Adrian seemed to want to kiss his innocent-looking wife. But he decided against it and got up from the bed.
"Maybe I'd better take a shower."
Adrian took off his tie and white shirt and went to the bathroom in their room. Turning on the bathtub faucet to soak himself after a long day of work.
A lot of tiring things happened today in his work, but somehow he felt all the tiredness disappear after he saw Avians.
A smile returned to the man's handsome face, as he brushed his wet hair back, he enjoyed the cool water that drowned him.
