Archer's POV
"Are you going or not?" I heard my cousin ask the moment he got inside my office.
"I am still tired from my trip, Kent," I responded.
"So what? It doesn't bother you before, but why now?" He asked as he looked at me with curiosity.
"Because Mariela Alva ruins my night," I responded, and he laughed at me to the extent that I could see tears in his eyes.
"I couldn't believe you would be laughing at me," I said.
"I could tell I was right all along, and you are still affected with her, Archer, and you have to accept you still want her." He replied, and I shook my head.
"I will never say yes because that is not true, Kent, and please stop insisting that I am still in love with her. I am not, and to be honest, and I don't want to hear her name again." I blurted out while still seeing the amusement on Kent's face.
"Okay, fine, whatever you say, but please at least have a drink with me," he declared.
