Chapter 2

It was Sarah who introduced him to me. Actually we can't say introduced, she just told me about him. Not just once but whenever he passes us. "His name is Michael Ren. He is a topper in my school. His father is no more. He is a good guy", its the exact sentences she used to tell me about him. I was okay with one or maybe upto thrice but later I got annoyed and told her not to tell about him again. I didn't have an intension to talk with him. Not only to him. I decided not to speak with any guys during university. I am not being a feminine. I hada reason.

When I was studying high school, I had a misunderstanding with girls. The teachers were favourable to me and used to ask about the students which led to this fight with girls. We didn't physically fight but they stopped talking to me. So all the guys in my class used to be my friends, accompanied me during lunch and were good to me. Though I dont talk to them frequently, we are still in contact atleast once in a while. As I was with guys during school, I just wanted to have good girlfriends to hang and share things. But our plans never works out the same as we expect.

An important information is Mike joined EEE course. Though the courses are different, EEE and ECE were in a same for some days. So he was in my class. One day, our Physics professor wanted us to take seminar on any topic related to Physics. I prepared about Lightening and its types. Sisi and a few others talked about the first chapter of our book. Mike was one of them. Our professor asked us to find an answer for a question on that chapter. When Sisi was open to questions, Mike asked her that question. Funniest part, he didn't ask anyone else nor he himself didn't answered when he talked about that chapter. Sisi couldn't answer cause she didn't know. I wanted to save my friend, so I volunteered to answer. Mike was impressed by the English I spoke. He liked my accent. My family all have an accent so we hear more comments that we speak differently, stylishly but it's just normal for us and we couldn't change.

Though he was impressed and wanted to speak with me, he didn't has the courage. So our mutual friend, Kim who became my friend cause of Sisi told me that Mike wanted to speak to you and asked for my permission to share my number with him. I got his number and texted instead.

It was the time where the government had restricted to be able to send only 5 messages per day due to some military reasons. Mike used all that 5 messages to text me which made me think that I am special to him. Cause, during restrictions of someone used all the messages to us, we would feel the same way right. I also started to reply him and spent all 5 messages to him. I called and talked to my friends if they texted. That's how I slowly fell for him.
