The Reunion
THAT NIGHT, it was unmistakable from a distance how lights surrounded the Bianchi home. It mirrored that happiness of reuniting for everybody at the long dining table. Even still in grief, Mr. Albrecht looked so happy with the family, especially meeting the twin babies of the Medici couple. And finally, Stefanie was back in her husband's arms together with their daughter.
"Wow. Now you're making your legacy, Jake, with these cute babies," the wealthy old man remarked. "Better not forget me on their baptismal day."
Jacob and Angeline exchange glances. Then Jacob cleared his throat," we have to prepare for that day though nothing has been discussed yet. But yes, you are invited, Uncle."
"Good, good…" Mr. Albrecht burst so joyfully, but the sadness lurking in his eyes now and then was undeniable how he was in grief. Everybody was aware and tried to console him.
