Memory Thief
MALLORY stopped speaking when he noticed the look on Angeline's face. She covered her forehead with her palm.
"My apology," Mallory said. "I knew it's tough for you to remember what really happened, but it's the only way to get back your memory, Angeline. I know you can fight it, but it will be painful."
"I'm sorry, but can we not talk about it?" Angeline asked him. "I have a severe headache ..."
Jacob wanted to say something when they heard the voices of kids calling. And he saw Ethan with the twins running toward them.
"Mommy ..." Nicko called but halted his footstep when he saw Mallory.
His parents were stunned when Nicko stared at Mallory before his eyes wandered to his parents.
"Hello ..." Mallory greeted the little boy.
Jacob looked at his son before facing Mallory when Nicko hugged his mother.
"Can we talk?" Jacob suggested.
