Jacob embraced her passionately at what she had presented. She could feel him affected by what he said. His heartbeat was so loud she could hear it.
"Oh, baby ..." he exclaimed, full of emotion. "I'm so sorry… I should have questioned why she was like expecting us in the clinic. I shouldn't have trusted you with her. Having a doctor without so much of queries is just too convenient. I could not shake off the feeling that something was up."
"Me too ..." she replied, leaning her face on her husband's shoulder.
"But what happened to you in the forest? Why are you lying in that animal trapped?" Jacob continued to inquire, wanting to find out the whole incident, which is a big puzzle.
