Ch 11 - Peverell Vault

Gragrak and I can be seen riding a mine cart down to the deepest vaults in Gringotts.

It was very dark in the caves and I focused mana into my eyes so that I could see better.

Suddenly it seems all of my senses were enhanced when I saw a new notification.

[New Skill: Enhanced Senses Lv. 1]

It seems that my action of pushing mana into my eyes must have unlocked me enhanced senses for my race.

I tried my best to reign my senses back in as the clicking of the rails under the minecart was beginning to hurt my ears.

I could even hear Gragrak's heartbeat next to me.

Finally we reached a vault whose door was circular and looked like it was carved out of black marble.

Gragrak gestured towards the door and I walked forward and pressed the ring against an indent in the center of the vault.

Mana gushed out of the vault and clung to me as if it was scanning me and then the circular vaulted rolled to the side revealing a single pedestal with a band the same size as the Peverell Lord's ring.

I looked at the ring I was wearing and noticed a small indent around the ring where the thin circle on the pedestal would fit into.

I approached the pedestal and as I went to take the ring there I felt me consciousness being tugged be something and then everything went black.

I woke up and was sitting on a throne surrounded be gold and pretty girls dancing.

There was some kind of tug on my mind telling me to indulge in my surroundings and I just smirked.

Having completed the sin illusions and tempering my soul this was child's play.

The surrounding cracked and I could hear a hum in the magic as if acknowledging me passing the test.

The ring on the pedestal was floating and it flew into my lord ring.

The ring on my finger glowed and then just like the space ring that I created I could sense an expanded space inside.

When I checked the inside I couldn't keep my mouth from opening with the sheer amount of coins, gold, art, and jewelry inside.

There was also a note that said 'This should be enough money to get you started. You won't need any of our family magics because of that fancy library of yours. My only advice to you is to enjoy your life and not let anything deter you from doing what you wish. Stay safe my son - Kara Peverell'

I left the cave with Gragrak and told him that I would be opening a new account under Yamoshi Uzumaki and that I would use it mainly for investments.

With everything set up I port keyed using the Lord's ring back to the manor and decided to check on Harry.

My house elf switched with him and when I saw him I laughed a little as he had his shirt off and was checking himself out.

When he looked up and saw me laughing his face when red and he punched me in the gut.

I rolled around on the ground still laughing for a while.

"How do you like the upgrades'

Harry: "It feels fantastic. Not only do I no longer feel pain in my body but I feel strong and even my mind feels a lot clearer."

"That's great mate. I'm happy for you. I also managed to get custody for you under Lord Peverell so I will show up at your house tomorrow as an older version of myself to adopt you in the muggle world as well. This way we can break the blood wards and when the old goat goes to check on you and read the Dursley's mind everything will seem legit."

Harry: "Sounds good, I'll see you tomorrow then"

And with that he switched again and was gone.

I still have a few months to practice all the wand waving magic so that I can screw around and have fun at Hogwarts without having to worry about the classes.

I also have to setup defenses and organize my mind.

Right now I just threw my mindscape together for my foundations but as it is right now my memories are not sorted and there are very few defenses.

I check in with my other elf who is pretending to be me at the orphanage and decided that I would also adopt myself but keep the Uzumaki name so that if Dumbledore looks into me and my talent he will be wary of the mysterious Lord Peverell.
