"It's been 3 months, why are they still not waking up? What the hell are you doing to them?" My daughter asks angry.

We've been searching high and low, and we can't find the children.

We've got every Ise in prison. We've looked at every inch of this country. Stumbled on many underground groups and captured them.

This has been the greatest feet in my career, but my family is tearing apart.

My family is angry and frustrated and doesn't even know who to blame. I have come here daily for the good news and I hear nothing, when I go home my children are looking at me with the same expectation, but I can't find anything.

I turn to my son and his ridiculous Cat costume, "Well? Have you found anything?" I ask, I had him go around looking for someone with either a time related power or one to see in the future.

People are getting good at hiding their powers,, I guess I can call it a good thing that more and more people are also starting to have powers, soon, we will be the majority in the world.

"Yeah, she'll be brought in shortly." Katsuo replies with his arms crossed, he looks particularly annoyed today.

We wait 3 hours and that's when Katsuo's group arrives with Yachi. She is Kaiya's mother, why didn't I think of this myself?

Where has she been all this time?

Before going in to talk to her, Katsuo updates me about what's been going on with Toya and her role in the matter.

He brought her in for arrest as well, but she does not know that, "We just need her to answer our questions comfortably." My son states checking the time.

"Why would Toya not tell me about what's happening in his life? With his children." I ask confused, I'm his father, I am the police, I could have stopped this a long time ago.

My daughter Katsumi snickers, "No offence dad, but you were never really the fatherly type while we were growing up. You treated your own home like it's your job. We were treated no different from criminals, no way in hell would he come to you for help. Not Toya."

"You ruined your relationship with him so bad he hated you since. I hated you for what you did to him, treated him like crap, you treated him like a such a villain to the point that Toya actually ..." Katsuo crosses his arms looking away, "Never mind, I'm going on ahead."

Dammit. All I was doing was my job, to put food on the table, why am I being faulted for that?

"Good job brother. Let's hope we get to do this the easy way." My daughter comments slapping me on my chest, "Get it together." She adds before walking on ahead.

I take a deep breath, I will worry later right now I have to do my job.

I tell her what to do and she rolls her eyes at me before pointing at Rei's chest.

"Each one represents your precious grand children. Their not dead, just in cryostasis like their parents. You're searching for people who do not exist yet." She turns to leave and I stand in her way.

"Follow me." I walk her into her prison cell and lock the doors, "Your friend Magenta is next. Unless you can tell me how to wake them up."

"Gladly old man, but only after you get these things off me. I need my hands."

"If that's the case, I'll find another way." Does she think I am stupid to risk her escaping?

She kicks the prison bar, "You scum, you need Kaiya alive, if you still haven't found her you better hope she's alive wherever she is, because if she dies, they're all as good as dead."

Rei turns over. My eyes widen and I call my dad, "Rei slightly moved, they have not moved a single inch in 3 months but she just moved." I look closer waiting for her to pop up, heck I'll risk her throwing up on my face.

I wait at the hospital for an entire day, my family arrive with looks of disappointment on their faces.

"I'm sorry you guys, I swear she moved." This is becoming stressful. Toya is here and mom finally woke up from her coma. The heat just keeps on coming.

"We still need to find Kaiya, she's the only one keeping them alive, we find her, we can wake up them up." Dad relays the new information to the family. He looks so drained.

In all the years my father has been on the jo, I have never seen him look tired, exhausted, frustrated, and even sick of his damn job like he is right now.

My sister smiles, "She should be easy to find. She's probably looking for us too." She says excited.

"What if she has memory loss and has no idea who to call, how else would a smart girl like her still be missing? At least we know she's still alive, but what condition she is in, and who took her in is a whole new story entirely." My youngest brother, Toyokazu comments.

"Let's just take in the good news for now. One more depressive episode and I might just lose my mind." My sister comments smiling positively.

Way to go sis, that boundless positivity of yours may have just brought dad back from the edge he was standing on. I think we were too harsh with him when we told him the things we said about his relationship with Toya.

It was still all true, there is nothing we can do about that.

"Celebrate the small victories. Sounds healthy enough." Dad comments after a deep breath, "Let's go see how your mother is doing."

Raena

I arrive at the hospital with a fake ID, walk into the room where they have Toya, Rei, and Kai in capsules.

Police just left so I have exactly 5 minutes before the next group is standing at the door.

I extract Kai's blood and leave. I make my way to the place I'm hiding out with Rin. He takes the blood from my hand the minute I walk through the door and I don't even get a thank you.

I jump behind him through his portal and we're inside a dark cave. I follow quietly and he passes the blood on to a guy that looks familiar. Zero I think.

"Who's she?" The guy asks looking at me.

"Who?" Rin asks turning around. He grabs my forearm and pulls me aside, "What the hell are you doing here? These guys don't trust me enough as it is, stop behaving like a damn child Raena, how many times do I need to keep to telling you to fucking listen?"

He glares at me and jumps me away.

I just wanted to know what he's doing with the blood. Asshole, if it wasn't for me he wouldn't even have it.

I wait for hours before he comes back, he walks past me not saying anything, again he just carries on like it's business as usual.

He starts packing his bags getting ready to move again, I'm honestly getting sick of this moving around.

"What did you need the blood for?" I ask and Rin looks at me before continuing with his packing, "Hey, I want to know, I'm the reason you got the blood."

"Listen Raena, I didn't ask for your help, you offered to help. I could have easily gotten in and out, but you insisted so I let you help. Don't get on my damn nerves, you ask too many questions, and quit enjoying this so much, if we don't find Kaiya they could die any day now."

He grabs his bags and opens a gate. I jump in first before he leaves me behind, and I scream when I am free falling from a sky scraper.

Rin

That's what you get you annoying bitch.

I jump down to make sure she's dead. I take her body with and drain all her blood in the cave.

Kendo walks into the room and takes the blood, he has some theory on waking up Rei, Raena's blood is the key.

I put the body back in the street where I found it.

We're going to grab the bodies and move them somewhere secure. We can't put their lives in the hands of doctors and government paid crooks.

My job is to make sure they get in and out safely. We've been watching security, every day at exactly 10PM Rei moves and one of the clocks on her chest moves by just one second. Her healing power could be the key to waking them up.

We'd run the idea by Toya's father, but we can't even be sure he'll listen. He's already got his hands full searching for Kaiya. We'll handle the waking them up part.

We'll be going in a week when they move Yachi to the meta prison. I know the chief of police and his son's vigilante squad will be her personal escorts. That's also enough time to come up with a serum infused with Raena's blood.

We're hoping it will be a jump start to Reina's power and she can speed up the clock, she's fighting, she just needs help from the outside world as well.

Yachi

The buzzer goes off and my cell door is open. I check and my cuffs are different, at least these ones are not keeping my hands bound together, I still need both my hands to be free.

I try to use my power and it's working but it's so weak. Though, I've done plenty damage with this much power in the past.

What bullshit these fuckers are thinking. I helped Kai design these things, a few modifications don't stop me from knowing how to turn them off, but I will lay low, what good is ruining a chance for a sweet escape.

I leave the cell and make my way to the cafeteria. Haven't seen anything like this since I was at school, a lot more people then I expected as well.

I make my way to the long line, I am famished. I don't know what we're having but the smell is already annoying me.

I make my way to the back and make my own food while the staff are a bit. Frozen. I can still stop people in their tracks. Like a pause button, and get along with my day.

I sit at my table and enjoy my full course meal. This is the stuff I eat. None of that garbage. Couldn't even get full from that.

"Hey, freak!" A female bounces my way and roll my eyes, said for women who think strength in a woman is being more masculine.

"What can I do for you? Need tips on how to be more lady like?" I ask and she scowls at me, I guess not. Though she could seriously do with some tips. Her posture is preposterous. Her walk is hideous, and her hair is enough to make a girl run up a wall.

"You think you own this place? Think you can come in here and do as you please?"

"I don't think so honey. I already did. Now, back away and let a girl do her thing. I need silence to digest my meals."

The doors open and I glare when I see Katsuki looking directly at me. I hate his guts.

"You've got a visitor. Let's go."

I stand up and follow behind him. I make my way to the visitor's room. This facility actually allows for a one on one with a visitor. My goodness, how they've made prison a comfort.

"Who's my guest? I don't have any friends." I ask and Katsuki crosses his arms, "Exactly what I was thinking." He comments looking at me suspiciously.

A woman walks into the room and I could die on the spot. My old hag is still kicking. How unfortunate.

"Yachi, still a disgrace as I remember." She greets with her famous motherly love.

"Mother, still alive, I would have hoped the years would catch up to you by now."

She snickers and grabs my hand, I snatch my hand out of hers and she turns to Katsuki, "No need to keep looking for my grand daughter because you will never find her. The three clocks do not represent the triplets, quite a coincidence that you would all think each one represents a single child.

"The triplets are represented by an individual clock, they were born at the same time. The grand father mentioned she was with child at the time of the pregnancy therefore another one of the clocks is for that. The last one represents Kaiya.

"With that being the case, it now means that three people are going to have to die first before they come back to life. It's a power we do not teach nor do we encourage, remarkable she figured it out on her own." My mother stares at Rei amazed.

Katsuki presses for deatils.

"What happens is that you sacrifice a life for a life. Three clocks representing three people, and each clock is tied to three people still alive, that upon their deaths the three trapped in Cryostasis will awake.

"The clock moving means that already one of those people is dead. I can already tell you that the second person is standing right here in this room. The third I will only know once I touch them as well, but I am assuming it's someone she had a rotten relationship with."

I can think of a few school teachers on her list, or the school principal.

Kaiya marked me to die? Whaaat?!!!

"What about the person already marked, what about them, and more specifically, what if I were to do the same thing?"

"You can't, because Rei was chosen, when you die, your power will be absorbed into her body, This is going to make her more powerful. She will have your power and the powers of the others such as yourself assuming they are like us. As for you, you could figure it out in the heat of the moment, but the truth is that it takes time.

"You must mark those you wish to kill and those you wish to resurrect. You must also have a clear picture of how you want to bring them back. Do you want to go back, change the present, or do you choose events in the future?

"You literally have 1 second, you have to make your mind up in that split second, that's why it's not so famously heard off, it's not everyone that can master the family power like that. To master it untrained, clearly, she had a better mother then you."

Mom walks away and I swear she's the one I'm marking, I want her dead.

That shouldn't be so hard, all I want is to just go back in time. That's all I want. Just fix things with Kai and all this hell never happens.

Katsuki takes me back to my cell and I keep trying and trying but I can't get it right, mom didn't mention needing any large amount of power, just being able to tap into this midnight effect.

Midnight effect?

How in the world did I forget that? Mom taught me about it when I was young.

I just can't remember. I'll have to remember. She said I could do it in the heat of the moment, just like how I just remembered this, sort of remembered.

I can do this. I can stop them from killing me.
