Chapter 1Musk forced to flee Earth

Year 4065;

It was snowing in the Amazon.

Unlike what one would expect, a massive well-lit modern Villa was standing at the edge of a waterfall, located in the middle of the Amazon.

It was private property. This was very clear from the massive sign put up from every direction.

In the villa, a covered with black and white tiles, water was flowing freely, through several passageways on the floor, covered by glass. Walking on the tiles, one could see glass covering every three meters, with water passing through.

At the very centre of the villa, was a sizable garden, with most of it covered by green grass. A handsome man was practicing boxing. His black casual sportswear was not matching the weather in the slightest.

The cold from the snow didn't seem to faze him. His actions resembled art, even to those that might not understand it.

His silvery eyes had a tinge of brown hidden, but this didn't affect the deep impression they left those that stared at them. The eyes seemed just too clear, almost empty, not even a slight bit of wamth was left in them.

His attacks kept releasing sound of tearing through air.

The area, 5 meters in diameter around him, seemed to have turned into some oven, and all the snow that fell there melted before evaporating.

With every punch he threw out, the power seemed to superimpose, and this resulted in the ground under his feet vibrating.

But this all did not seem to be capable of putting a smile on the handsome man's face.

Dissatisfaction could be seen especially when he stopped and shook his head, his silvery white hair kept swinging in the wind, while silvery eyes reflected indifference. It was as though nothing could get his attention other than the martial arts he was practicing.

"After all these millenniums of hard practice, why can't I get a way to breakthrough in martial arts, unlike Tortoise longevity Art? All other martial arts have been stuck at the peak of rank 3 all this time. Even though the power of this Bull demon Fist seems to have increased, it is all from my physique. Is there something I am missing, or my comprehension of martial arts is just too poor?" As he wiped the sweat off his face, he seemed to be unwilling.

"The Tortoise Longevity Art has granted me a long lifespan but since i reached the peak of rank 5, it seems impossible to go any further without feeling uneasy!" Liu Musk has studied other three martial arts,Bull Demon Fist, White Deer Rushes Through Heavens, and Heavenly Cane Strikes the Seas.

Tortoise Longevity Art was the only one he could still feel progress, but now it was just like the other three.

No! It was worse, because he felt that once ir tried to breakthrough to the 6th stage, a sense of crisis seemed to be waiting for him.

The benefits that came with such a breakthrough was ten times increased lifespan, as such he was indeed very frustrated.

Even though he passed through numerous trials before allowing it to reach the fifth level acquiring hundreds of thousands in lifespan, in terms of lifespan, he has no worries, but the Earth started rejecting his existence the moment he broke through to rank 5.

With the passage of time, it is becoming more and more severe. He thus focused on the other three martial arts and each is at the peak of rank 3, but he has no way forward.

He can be said to have reached his current stageb in combat martial arts, by virtue of grinding slowly over time, and yet he couldn't even make further progress.

Leaving this planet is his only way forward. The oppression brought on him by the planet is not something he can bear and he has already started to reach his tolerance limit. It is the same reason he had mankind turn to space exploration for the past four to six centuries.

Even though the world, has developed in terms of technology, his corporation controls more than two-thirds of the planet. The rest is also divided, among the other corporations, indicating that the entire world is run by corporations.

This serves his purpose well so he does not bother to have changed. With his close to 13,000 years of age, how can he not understand the best way to have what he wants to be accomplished fast? When people have more power, they also seem to ask more questions, and he did not want that, so he let things go on his terms.

Had the world not been forcing him to leave, he might have collected even more data, but at this moment, it is risky to keep staying on the planet. That threat level keeps rising and even his intuition seems to warn him to leave quickly.

Even the sun up in the sky does not seem like a good thing when he observes it. He always has this feeling like it was looking right back at him. Since everything he can practice has been practiced and those he dares not for the fear of the unknown, he can only take his shuttle out of the planet.

His plan is to stay on the moon for some time, but that feeling is still there though not intense. Even without interactions, humans prefer to stay within a group, but when he goes into space, that is something he would have to forego.

It also explains his need to stay on the moon for some time. Adapting to reality and also completely packaging the space shuttle is his goal.

He could leave at any time, as he has already collected information for hundreds of years since he started to secretly promote space exploration and then moved it from just the vicinity of the Earth into Deep Space.

Looking into the sky, he sighed. "It is finally time." He knows, that despite how much he tries to postpone it, it will come. For the Earth, this was the last time he stood on it.

Whether he wanted it or not, this was a result of his choice and he would not be willing to live a normal life. So, he affirmed his will, "It's just a loss of resources, let's focus on the main goal." He did not have any emotional change.

He is someone that has seen events that almost wiped out the entire population and then stood from them managing to break through in the Longevity Art, still acting indifferent. This is because he has come to understand some truth that he is the only one going to be left standing with the passage of time.

In such an environment, he of course will become indifferent and focus on his goals more. In this period, he also had some yearning to meet creatures on his level, not just to learn from each other, but rather to create some association with them.

He would have left this planet at some point even without being pushed out eventually.

Up in the void, seemingly in another dimension, there were three huge creatures standing, something that Musk would never fathom. Their sizes were infinite, and with their eye focused on the planet that Musk was at, threads could be seen traversing the dimensions, and slowly spreading outwards and the earth was almost covered by it.

Only some small spaces were left and it seemed intentional, or rather the creatures observed Musk with some anger and also fear.

One of them observed the unwillingness on the other's faces, and asked, "Why? You want to capture that ant and find out about its secrets?"

Seeing the mocking expression on the bigger creature's face, the others seemed unconvinced, but it just ignored it before continuing to speak. "Back then our ancestor acted the same way when he occupied some mortal dimension and our entire race paid the price for it. You all should already see that this ant has a strong fate line connecting it to the Primeval Dimension. He might be someone's pawn. Sometimes an owner might not care about their dog, but if someone else beats it up, they would have to be accountable to the owner. Able to leave the fate lines just like that, shows the person that did this doesn't fear others trying to locate him. Don't tell me you have forgotten why we hide in this dimension? When this ant diea, the karma would undoubtedly links it to us. At that time, death is the only outcome. I won't participate."

"Besides, isn't it interesting, even though we could not touch the ant, we made it such that it is impossible to grasp will in this dimension? But I'm impressed and had it not been for our plans, I should have let it stay longer to observe what happens when it fails to break through." The statement did not cheer them at all.

As the creature spoke the force covering the entire planet become so intense that Musk become more anxious. He could feel it, a threat was indeed on him, or his essence of life was higher than the allowed limit of his body.

Only he didn't understand this at all, he could only feel a threat level rising from the unknown, hanging over his head.

It had become so intense that he couldn't stay any longer, he decided to leave the planet today.

The guys behind the scenes, seemed to understand the cause of all this, and didn't interfere in the slightest.

If one were to say they were not curious it would be a lie, after all, a mortal fusing some unique power from that weird practice that did not follow logic, especially in this two dimension withering away slowly. But at the end of the day, it was just lifespan, it didn't tempt them too much.

Lifespan is not a big deal for them after attaining a certain level, but for Musk it always felt like a burden on his shoulder.

Right! Just like being rich, if one had to carry their riches on the back, then the more one accumulated, the more suffocated they would become.

The Tortoise Longevity Art was breaking rules of heaven and earth. In that way, heaven and earth would target Musk that was practicing the technique.

The warning in his heart had already gone beyond his control, and he could find himself shaking without a reason.

Martial arts had reached the limit he could achieve in this place, regardless of what he did, it didn't change anything. The force of oppression was increasing with time, and the parties involved seemed too intelligent that someone like Musk could not realize it.

They after all did not want to form some negative karma, unlike people like Musk who were weak, it is difficult to grasp the meaning of this.

Perhaps in his current state, he might think that karma is something like repayment for good and bad deeds.

But in the world of strong, the word is only used when one has formed enmity with a strong existence, capable of obliterating their entire existence.

Good and evil do not exist for such a level of power, and the supreme beings decide it based on their mood, while some even do not care.

Looking into the distance, a huge floating continent could be seen floating, and the creature waved its arm making some changes to it, that resembled the human civilization Musk was on. The only problem being the place was too cold, not in line with the region in space it was floating, something very attractive to any creature new in deep space.

As of Ch. 225 I’ll be honest I’m a little torn on my thoughts on this novel. I shall explain why. First of all the overall concept of the novel is great, author does well to make sure there are no plot holes in terms of the MC’s decision making or how he advances in strength. The pace of the novel is also good, it’s fast enough that you can enjoy the progress and also understand what’s going on. The word count for every chapter is also really long, and finally the storyline itself is GOOD. I’ll be real though, there’s a massive info dump in this novel. It’s not very noticeable early on but as you hit the later chapters, it goes into extreme depth with the MCs thought process, reasonings behind his actions and then over explains everything that’s happening. I, for one, don’t mind info dumps if they’re done correctly. But that amount I’ve read, and where the story is currently at don’t add up. It becomes a pain to read at some point because you can see the MC being fleshed out and improving with every chapter but in the grand scheme of things the MC is literally going from a power level of 10 to 11 and the people he’s catching up to are sitting on 100. (This is an example, not a spoiler). The crazy part though is that because every chapter is condensed (and long which I like), you can’t help but think that the story is progressing well when in reality there’s not a lot happening (much like DBZ fight). Sigh aside from the insane info dump, the only other thing I can point my finger at is that things that happen in the novel seem erratic and displaced. For instance, the MC will be breaking through a stage, and then the POV will randomly switch to his senior sister going through her own troubles, and then it’ll switch to some random disciple from a different faction talking with his faction friend etc. This just led to me skipping over some sections because I was just more interested in what was happening with the MC and I think that takes away from what the author was trying to do. Ultimately, the problems I’ve mentioned aren’t super big and can be improved upon and I think it’ll make the nocel much easier to read. If you’re considering reading this novel just go ahead and have a read. It does start a little differently that most other novels like this start but the storyline starts to get interesting after the first few chapters (I think 10?). My brain hurts.

first impressions after reading the first 50 chapters. So far an interesting story about a man who 'accidentally' found a cultivation technique that allows him to live for a very long time. After a long time of cultivation and pushing earth technology to an higher from the shadows he is discovered by some powerful creatures who guide him to leave earth and go to a dimension where humans cultivate. He is 'guided' to join a sect and start his cultivation journey. I like that the story is told in a different way than the cultivation stories from Chinese writers (different pacing, different starting point and route towards the furst cultivation steps, etc) while still being a cultivation story. It gives the story a fresh feeling (starting as sci-fi and changing into cultivation in a way not seen very often). What I also like is that although the mc is starting out with the mc receiving all kinds of 'plot armor' and lucky encounters it is told in such a way that it is not just luck that will make the mc strong, he earns it with smart choices. And on this platform one of the best things I could say is that so far I haven't seen an 'idiotic young master' type of character (I hate those characters bc they often get themselves and their family killed for the dumbest of reasons. They are called cannon fodder for a reason but more often than not it doesn't do the image of the mc in the eyes of the reader much good. An antagonist who acts out of logical reasoning make the main character look better when he defeats them) Not everything is great but so far I have only found minor things and not things like where the story and character development breaks world building. Think of things like sound in space, small mistakes that are also often made in movies and animation. And another thing that sometimes can be better is the distinction between narrator and character. When is the narrator talking about the mc, when is the narrator talking in general. In other words small things that could often be fixed with a slight restructuring of some sentences or paragraphs. The story is interesting, plays out in an interesting world and told in an entertaining way. I hope it can hold this energy in later chapters too.
