Looking around I noticed the Alita was also being forced on by the mob of people as well. Slowly, I began to make my way through the mob and reached her side. I touched her shoulder lightly as we ran, causing her to jump and look at me in shock. After seeing it was me, she calmed down and we just ran together.

As we got closer to the outer wall, I saw why everyone was suddenly rushing towards it. There was a breach!

A big part of the wall had been knocked down and now, there was a gaping hole in the defenses. Faintly I could hear the beating of drums, as the enemy forces had begun to slowly approach the walls and the breach. On the walls themselves, there were rangers with bows, firing volley after volley into the attacking enemy forces. Then I heard someone yell, "Take cover!"
